Wouldn't it be great if:

* Nuzimeh the merchant can repair gear
and
* Tythis Andromo the banker grant guild bank access?

Would it justify the price of 5000 crowns and encourage more sales of the two crown store items?

Actually, repair service is not needed, if you are on PC use "Kyoma repair" - it will repair your gear with repair kits when it is close to 0, even in combat. And it is cheaper than repair service
And for the banker Id like Guild store access also

I would just be happy to have access to my guild bank and guild stores while I’m in my home, surrounded by the convenience of my crafting stations.

I don’t even care if it’s a portable function.. just make it work in houses when you place your banker.

I rarely buy crowns, but I’d buy a premium banker if it had this feature. 5,000 crowns RIGHT NOW.
I already own Tythis and Nuzimeh, btw.

I mean considering they're like $50 each they should be able to do everything standard in game merchants and bankers can do. Kinda stupid that they can't in my opinion.

Tythis should allow to access trade guilds too. At least stationary in house.
And they both should receive multiple skins for every race and gender plus possibly some other creatures, plus option to rename, for fair price in crowns ofc.

I would also like to see more gameplay reasons to visit our homes in general, badly, like some kind of rested bonus etc. As for the Banker & Merchant specifically, well, I guess they are trying to avoid sucking the life out of cities, like what happened to WoW with garrisons.

However, with that price one would certainly expect for them to be able to give you access to everything, but alas..

Zos has basically spoken on this, indirectly.

iirc, it was datamined, or found out somehow, that Zos was working on a new model of banker and probably merchant as well. More functionality that I believe included what OP has mentioned.

Essentially Zos came to realize quickly that forcing us to buy a completely new model to get the added functions was not a great idea so they went back to the drawing boards, or may have ditched it altogether.

In the end, if we get something it will likely be an upgrade we can purchase

I do not recall all the details since it has been awhile. The comments were in the forums iirc, so search away.

I use both my banker and merchant a lot, but they're a expensive for most people to consider buying, esp since they dont have the functionality people want, guild traders and repairing. It is so annoying when your armor breaks in a dungeon or trials and you have to either use repair kits, or port to the beginning of the trial to repair. Thays a bunch of load screens I dont want to participate in

I vote yes but only if it is possible when you are placing these 2 service npc's in home, I mean players should be prepared for a dungeon and not (ab)using crown store items... The way it would work would make it possible to not use repair kits at all.

Instead of just access to guild bank why not give banker access to guild stores (but like I said only when placed at home).

I remember that but thought they said it was just reskinned versions only with no added functions. Just a premium look if I remember correctly.

Plus I don't think we will ever get this functions because if we did what would be the reason to visit towns.

Considering the prize both - merchant and banker - sell for, this should be a given. I was most negatively surprised when I interacted with the merchant for the first time and realized it does not repair; same goes for banker.

Maybe not so much when out in the field, but when they're installed in my home, it would be nice to have full functionality. That way I can do my sorting at home and not have to wade through bears and flappers to see the banker.
