Really enjoying Battlegrounds lately

After switching from magicka to stamina sorcerer after the shield nerfs and getting used to the stamina play style I'm finally crossing off some of the battlegrounds achievements. Got "Conquering Hero" late last year but at the time it seemed like I wasn't having much luck actually getting kills. I was probably only winning one in five games. Finally hit "Grand Champion" this month and am now winning one in three games. I am also getting some decent kill counts so "Pit Hero" no longer seems like a distant dream. I am also crossing off the "Slayer" achievements slowly although "Orc Slayer" seems to be a while off. Not sure if that is because they are hard to kill or just unpopular to play.
Anyway, it seems for me at least, battlegrounds is putting me up against players of similar skill. Perhaps all the preformed teams of werewolves have given up or risen above my MMR level. It was definitely a learning curve. I didn't enjoy dying and loosing so much at the beginning. Several hundred games in I am glad I persisted with hunting the achievements. It has added a dimension to the game I didn't previously enjoy. My only hope is that future patches to screw up the balance so much again that it takes the enjoyment away.
