What are the benefits of running Imperial Sewers?

I am just trying to understand why people like to run Imperial Sewers. My guild runs every week, and I can't just understand why they prefer hanging there other than in Cyrodiil. Very little Alliance Points, experience gain is marginal, lousy loots outside Tel Var stones. In fact, I don't even know what can you get with those stones. Can I buy anything other than those specific sets like Shield Breaker, Black Rose etc?

What am I missing?

Tel Var for alchemy mats, that's about it IMO.

It can be kind of fun to solo down there if looking for PvP, but I can't imagine you get much action running as a guild group.

You can buy the Xivkyn polymorphs with telvar. Plus there is a chance to get the scamp from molag bal in the center.

Oh there is a skin too in there iirc.

It's a fun social event in an interesting environment. For a number of people, that's more than enough motivation and reward.

My first weekend in the sewers I got a drop worth over 200k gold to sell on trader. It's good.

I like to do IC and searching for a group for a while If possible i want to join u r guild.

A fun filled adventure with your friends or guildies. It is worth farming tel for certain gear, the polymorphs (there are three of them), the scamp, the skin, other useful goods, and completing the achievements. It is a nice merger of PvP and PvE. Just something different. It is more of a weekly thing rather then the daily PvP in Cyro and Bgs that we do. Try it and have some fun.

Tel var stones for your extra storage coffers. I'm like 20k away from my last coffer then IC will be a thing of the past for me. Especially next patch when ZOS will make IC has its own server apart from Cyrodiil

You do get a nice dye the first time you beat Molag Bal at the center.

I mostly buy Hakeijo with the tel var.

I managed to buy the scamp and skin from the guild traders, Yeah they costed at least 403k for me but it was better than the nearly zero drop from Molag

I believe the guild has an NA chapter as well.

I just did the quest for the first time in a 4 hour insomnia binge with my sneakiest character. It was fun! Drake of Blades has a ....disability one could say... that you don’t see in fiction too often, at least, represented in a net positive. I even met an enemy player who didn’t kill me for once!

The arena fights will come back soon and you’ll see some of the old chaos. Not as glorious because of how rezzing works now but maybe something close.

Also, the imperial city is gorgeous and if it wasn’t for the constant pvp I’d keep half my characters there.
