Snares and decreasing them

If you got a Warden (15% snare decrease), wearing Ranger's Gait (50%), and one light armor (4%) - that equals 69% snare effectivity decrease. So, if we have a 60% snare from for example Heroic Slash, I understand it's not like my speed is increasing by 9% (LOL), or that it's completely negated, but that it removes 69% of that snares actual speed decrease? Is that right?
Question is, if I'm also using Bird of Prey for Major Expedition, it should pretty much mean I can basically sprint through Caltrops and what not? Not on 100% of what the speed would be like without any snares at all, but basically? Also, does snares stack? I mean, if you get a Heroic Slash in the middle of Caltrops? I think it does? Snares from multiple instances of the same snare does not, do they?
