ZOS, please: Make jewelry master writs easier destroyable

People put jewelry master writs in guild banks, because they don't want them and they are worth almost nothing. So they pile up there because nobody wants them. And then us Bank Masters have to take them out, and cannot even sell them quickly to an NPC trader to get rid of them, but have to type DESTROY for every single one of them. That quickly gets annoying and time consuming if you have 30+ of them. Please have mercy and change something about that. :s

Agree 100%. Most Master Writs for Jewelry Crafting are DESTROYED. They are not worth doing at all. ZOS needs to overhaul the drops for jewelry crafting materials so it IS worth doing these Writs. As it is I have destroyed about a hundred so far.

Upgrading jewelry is such a fail, every other crafting requires just 8 to upgrade while jewelry, you need 10 grains to make a plate and that means upgrading to purple and gold take 30 and 40 grains respectively

This makes people hardly want to upgrade their jewelry. At least on xbox, zircon plates are around 25k to 35k and chromium plates I see for 85k plus so just upgrading one piece of jewelry is very expensive to purple and gold

Yea you can zircon and chromium grains from dungeons and trials but it's still a lengthy process to gather enough to refine into plates and they're not guaranteed either...

You can copy/paste the DESTROY command. Then it's just Control + V for the others.

You can mark them as a junk (still annoying, but not so much) and delete in bulk without confirming.

Look at the bank records to see who keeps putting them in there. Mail the writs back to them explaining how they are not wanted in the guild bank. At first this will be more work for you, but less people will be treating the guild bank as a dump.

They would have to lower the drop rate of jewelry writs at the same time, because there ain't enough zircon and chromium platings in the game to craft all those writs ;).

Wow, here’s an item that is a complete /FAIL when people are asking for an option to destroy them in bulk.

I agree, of course. I groan every time I turn in a jewelry writ and see a master writ drop.

    Here is a solution:
Tell Guildies to destroy them themselves, then you wont be bothered.

Jewelry writs are useless, too expensive for anyone to care about. Zos need to act like adults and put some thought and effort behind these things.

Increasing the writ reward doesn't change the fact the actual drop rates for the mats is what's destroying this particular craft. They can up the writ reward to 1000 vouchers and you'd still be hard pressed to make that writ any time soon. End game crafting shouldn't mean the mats involved should be at the extreme end of the spectrum. Even if they made gold mats twice as rare as alloys, it would be a vast improvement. It feels like you have as much chance having a cipher drop than you do being able to have the spare gold mats to make an inane writ.

I would still bin a 1k voucher writ. The jewel crafting in-game is nothing more than a token gesture. It's next to useless as a whole.

I don't think so, most probably new writs will drop with 10x reward but old ones remain the same.

At least put high rate from refine jew mat, so we can get zircon or chromium often.
(Currently refine mat 1000+ plat. and get zircon 5-6, chromium 2-3)

There are 30 vouchers writs requiring 3 zircon platings. Those are around ~27K on guild traders. So 81K in materials, considering the fact platinum is quite cheap. So a price of 2.7K per voucher. If you craft any other writs it's around 350-500 per voucher. So around 5-8 times cheaper. It's a ripoff. For 300 voucher ones that are usually legendary and require one of the rarer trait stones, the cost escalates, since you also need 4 chromium platings, which are around ~82K on guild traders. So a staggering cost of 410K; 420-425K in total if you need one of the rarer traits. So a cost of 1.4K per voucher, which is still 3-4 times more expensive than any other. And the prices for upgrades aren't going down, they're actually going up, but so do the ones for other items, like dreugh wax or tempering alloy, but that doesn't change things. I have hundreds of them that are clogging up the storage and I will destroy anything under 300-350 vouchers, and keep the rest for later, maybe prices will go down eventually.

Id suggest adding some grinder furnishing for your home. You put your jewelry writs there and bam! They are processed for something useful like confetty, or rainbow or just be gone forever without a trace of their shameful existance

Easiest way is simply mark them as junk, when you sell your trash and junk is empty, press X and it will all be cleared out. Works on everything you had to type DESTROY for

If they increased the number of writ vouchers to try to make the jc wrirs worthwhile, the price of jc upgrade mats would just go up even more. Demand right now is only for actual upgrades of gear, imagine the increase in demand if people wanted the upgrade mats for writs! The problem is not the writs, it’s the grain system.

Could they introduce a 2nd option for future writs...cash them in for mats? Won't significantly devalue existing mat stocks to start and over time as mats stocks build they will make the writs doable.

At least I have been nice and not dumped em in guild bank. Trying to sell them in store is a fail also..... :(
