Respawning in Battlegrounds needs to change

Option 1 - Let us cancel the respawn time


Canceling a respawn is a much needed tool so teammates won't have to waste their precious time trying to revive you and then fail just because your respawn timer was 0,1 second faster.


Option 2 - Show timer as soon as we die


It's just silly that i can spend 20 seconds to wait for a teammates revive, give it up and spawn myself just to (sometimes) wait whole 18 seconds.


Option 3 - Let us decline revives from teammates


Sometimes it's just better to start from the base instead of the battlefield, give us the ability decline so our teammates won't waste time doing something you don't want to.

    20 second timers are ridiculous. Not sure how they calculate the times because sometimes I rez instantly and sometimes get random timer between 0-20 seconds. I think 8-10 seconds is plenty for max.

    should be 10 seconds. delayed rez/punishing rez doesnt really match the fast pace combat of the game; only pleases more elitist attitudes at the cost of game flow.

    Look at the IC upper district changes. Not only was the fun removed when they added the dumb flag rez punishment system, it really punished you in wanting to run solo against larger groups. It resulting in either players leaving the area altogether or larger groups being formed to offset having to control the zones while having fun.

    Access to faster gameplay means more and more reactive builds being created and enjoyed.

    Make it a consistent 20s (or whatever they decide) after death for res instead of what it is now, which is 20s intervals and anyone that chooses to res within that interval resses at the end of the interval.

    It’s fine as is. Any less and what’s the point of coordinating to take someone out, any longer and it encourages spawn camping.

    But as it is you coordinate to take someone out and they can respawning anywhere from a fraction of a sec to 20s.

    Agreed that this shouldn't be a top priority. Although it should still get added to it's appropriate place in the pile.

    Stop people from casting at spawn. That's all that needs changing with spawning honestly.

    To be honest, I'd rather see rezzing removed. Rezzing makes sense in Cyrodiil where dying requires you to ride back to the fight, but in Battlegrounds, dying has very little repercussions. Rezzing in Battlegrounds a wastes your team mates' time, b opens your team mate up to attack, c can put you into a *** situation if you rez in the middle of a fight, rather than respawning naturally then coming into the fight of your own volition, d puts you at an instant disadvantage due to a severe lack of resources upon being rezzed, unless it's a Templar who rezzed you, and e is pretty much pointless since the respawn timer is so damn short, even the full 20 seconds is nothing compared to Cyrodiil.
