Crowns cap?

Is there a cap to the pool of crowns one can have at one time?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've been out of the game since shortly after beta / launch.

With the 30K I had prior and another nearly 20K for a year's subscription to ESO+ I'm at 50K and don't really see the need to buy anything, maybe a house but I need to catch up before I'm comfortable with it.

I only got to lvl 25 on the Mac/PC side, I'm not sure at the moment on PS4.

I know someone who had 245k crowns, so sky is the limit I guess

There could, conceivably, be a cap or an account hold if ZOS has any reason to believe that Crowns or any other service are being purchased through fraudulent means. But outside of that, players only need to be aware that unspent Crowns on your account will not be refunded and can only be used for in-game purchases so only buy as many as you see yourself comfortably spending in the future.
