Come on. I'm sitting at a 5 minute mark right now. Not even trying to get into Vvardenfell.

This is ridiculous.

Yeah, it's been taking me a loooong time to load into the game, load transitions, etc. It's a little silly.

I've had some 2+ minute load screens today. Into Craglorn and into Cloudrest. Pretty ridiculous, yeh. :/

I dont know if this will help, but worth a try. Sometimes I get long loading screens and there doesn't seem to be a reason. I have found a few times that master merchant and other resource heavy addons amplify it. One other thing that seems to help me with dungeon disconnects and load screens is completing shutting down the game, and then unplugging my router for a few seconds. Replugging it and letting the internet reconnect, the restarting the game helps. Hopefully it will help some of you. If not, NERF LAG and LOADSCREENS..

This may be an unusually long response time...

In other games I battled long load screens until I bought a SSD to replace my old HD. Just started playing eso and I noticed it sometimes takes 5 minutes for the full process of loading the game and logging into my character. But it can sometimes be as fast as 30 seconds or so.

    Weird.

That's because you need to separate actual loading time (rendering local zone on your hardware) and server response. Server load can cause longer access times because it needs to make certain amount of "handshakes" with your client to authenticate you etc. If server is heavily loaded your loading time will increase to. If the communication fails somewhere in between, it may cause infinite loading screen without proper error control as the chain of communication has been broken leading in the end to timeout.
I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

I will only allow for 4 minutes max. If it takes longer than that, I exit the game and relog. which takes less than 2 minutes to get back into the game (normally the place I was travelling to).

[ see, told you it was going to respond eventually. ]
