Improving BOPU armor

Got a full set of blue armor from a dungeon. I was able to enchant and transmute the pieces but could not improve it to epic. The pieces do not show up in the list of armor available to improve at the blacksmiths station. I tried other avis, relogged, moved them in and out of inventory- no luck.

Are some sets just not improvable?

I don't know of any gear that is not improvable in the game

If you're sure you're at the right station, (if it's medium or light armor, need to be at clothiers station), and it's not locked, you should submit a bug report ticket, as it's certainly a bug.

Can you post a screenshot of the issue, @BroddFletcher?

@tmbrinks is right ... the vast majority of upgrade issues is error by the player.

    So, check this list first:

    1. Use the appropriate table to upgrade the armor (as @tmbrinks pointed out) ... light/medium = clothing table; heavy = blacksmith table

    2. Make sure you have enough improvement tempers for your crafter to actually upgrade the piece(s) of gear.

    3. Make sure your crafter's improvement expertise level (passive skill) isn't lower than the level of the gear.

    4. Double check the armor pieces aren't locked. Locked pieces don't show up in the improvement section of the crafting UI.

    5. Finally, confirm the gear piece is actually available to your crafter ... and not on another character.

Also an important side note ---> If you improve dropped armor that has been re-enchanted, you'll need to add new enchantments again to get the full enchantment effect. Default enchantments on BOP gear will automatically improve when you improve the quality.
