The title says it all. I just don't know whats the best way to go about it. Stamdk seems legit, so does stamplar, so does stamden lol. I don't hate mag in any way, but i was hoping to roll a race i don't have, like orc?

Thoughts? What could put me in the middle of the action and be able to survive and damage as well as play group or solo? I'm not asking for much am i lol.

If not orc, then maybe Dumner? I just don't want to play an AD character (i have 5) or a human. Something fun and flashy. Doesn't have to be easy per say. Thanks for the input.

Oh I'd suggest a Stamden. Use a 2H and DW then have your cat walk over the keyboard and count your kills.

I use 2h/SnB on stamden Orc its really fun to play, i have 2 main set-ups:

Solo / 1vX: 5pc 7th legion (weaps/jewellery) 5pc fury 2pc bloodspawn skills make sure to have bugs a couple heals.
Group play: 5 piece hunding (heavy chest/legs,3 med) 5 piece automaton (weaps/jewellery) and 2pc balorgh.

Both builds have insane burst u need dubious food for sustain

If you're looking to be equally aggressive in group & solo I'd say go stamden.
AOE fracture and spin2win makes for great dmg and can be translated to group or solo fights.

Stamplar is very good in groups, solid damage and purify is invaluable to your teammates. However, stamplar is likely in medium due to healing restraints and this makes it squishier, with worse sustain than stamden solo.

Stamdk and stamden are pretty neck & neck in terms of damage output and tankability, depends on who you talk to as to whether they think one or the other is more effective solo. However in group, stamden brings minor toughness and a burstier aoe fracture, as well as major resolve/ward if needed to group, and perhaps even aoe defiles/healing ults. In comparison, stamdk lacks a very good identity group wise. They do bring minor brutality and damage, but imo this just pales in comparison to what stamden brings.

True. I knew my post would get a response like this. The guy did use to solo a lot way back. Now he usually has a pocket healer or his Orc army with him. His playstyle is still aggressive though. And at the risk of being called a fanboy, he is one of the only PvP streamers that I find enjoyable to watch.

Disclaimer: I don't personally use his or any other streamer / YouTube builds. I build for myself. I was just giving OP some direction to look into.

As a healer watching other players. Go DK, hands down no contest. Werewolf is another good option, only problem with werewolves is they tend to use their charge and jump too far ahead of teammates and get themselves into trouble.

agree with the above. stamden is tier A. that said, if you do play more solo than group, maybe give stamsorc a look. I would significantly prefer stamden to stamsorc in group play but solo the stamsorc brings excellent mobility and some good kit features that allow it to excel. The issue wtih stamden solo is that your dmg is very telegraphed and predictable. it's still very efficient, but also more easily countered.

Well short answer is stamina warden, since it blows every other option out of consideration. But without the obvious answer, I will give you a very basic list of what every stam class is good at:

    1. StamSorc: fast, hits hard, but lacks any sort of healing, Its the perfect class to get in, kill some scrubs, then get out.
    2. StamDk: Slow, sturdy, easy to heal. I see stamDk as more of a tanky ''guardian'' in group play , you can easily use guard on allies to help them stay alive and your kit is very good for 1v1'ing enemies.
    3. Stamplar: Very strong this patch, has good burst but not the best, good healing but not the best, has the ability to cleanse debuffs, overall strong class but not as straightforward as the two above.
    4. Stamblade: Despite what people think if you build them as a brawler they are like a more damage oriented version of stamDk. Heavily 1v1 focused, but with less healing and tons more damage.

I played a bit of every class above, that is my opinion on them. Depending on what you ask for I would say stamsorc or stamden suits your playstyle but you might also like stamplar despite its flaws. Also keep in mind stamsorc and stamDK are very heavily based on weapon abilities unlike the others.

Stamsorc is my main and i play that as a brawler, orc as race. Troll King, Hulking and Cyrodils Ward with master bow back bar. Arteum takeaway broth as food.

Works great at the moment but not sure if it will work next patch with all races losing the 20% health recovery passive.

Yea, you might want to listen to everyone else instead of me. I pvp heal so see them in action, but you won’t always have a healer.

With that being said, as a NB healer when you group with a good DK it’s pretty ridiculous. They get over 20 PKs with 0-3 deaths.

Other classes just don’t consistently perform as well from my experience.

Rather counter-intuitively, if you want to be aggressive, you want to play with heavy armor sets.

There are lots of builds out there for all races that are able to shrug off large amounts of damage and then pile enough burst into a few procs and and ult for example and get the kills.

Personally I like my magwarden, Living Trellis + Ice Fortress make for a much more tanky full-clothie than you would expect. Then 30% damage mitigation on top with the ult and I can push into large groups, and assuming my team is with me, clear them up.

Stam DK the best stam class in my opinion. There is no fight you can't win on a stam DK with patience...

The best way to start your adventures in aggression is to obviously queue up for some PvP. Once you’re found some PvP areas, get yourself out of your safe zone and hippity hop on into some danger.

But don’t go looking for a massive Zerg Fight, just look for a onesie or twosie. Then, engage!

But here’s the real trick... here’s what they don’t tel you in the history books... if you truly want to be an Aggressive PvP’er.... lose the fight.

Don’t get me wrong, put up a good fight! But just don’t win it! Very important!

So, when you finally respawn, scroll up to see who had the killing blow. Armed with that juicy bit of info, send your would be assassin a hate filled rant of a whisper. It could start out with something like: “

“you only killed me because my ulti was down!”

    Or

“you suck! Good players don’t rely on -insert random thing- to win”

    Or

Pretty much anything else you can come up with. Be original. Be crazy. Have some fun with it.

And with that... Congratulations!! You’re finally on your way to becoming the most aggressive PvPer out there!

Stam warden seems to be a good choice but what I have seen lately, while watching players duel, stam dk seems very strong.

I'm not a great player but very aggressive. To be good and aggressive you need to master your skills and your environment. Knowing how to move around your environment will help you survive against 1vX situations.

Study how other players play will also make you better.
