So I missed the original battlespire on account that I was 3 yrs old 
but I think it would be cool if we got a battlespire trial or arena.
Anyone else want to see this in the future?

The Battlespire was where the Imperials trained their Battlemages. It was overrun by Mehrunes Dagon's forces that hopped, skipped, leaped, and jumped their way there from the Deadlands. Apparently, you can't just go straight through from the Deadlands to Nirn without going through the Soul Cairn, some pocket realm of Nocturnal's, and an island flung off into the void with a crazy old guy. Also you steal a nifty weapon from Mehrunes' girlfriend.
It had a huge room with a giant dragon's skeleton that was recently (Oblivion-Era) killed by the Daedra and even back then, the dragons were still wyvern-style. I know this because I climbed the bones. There was also the room with the floating rocks and the room that looked like a paintball/lasertag maze with an elevator.8 -

From my understanding, and I could be wrong, Battlespire is not relevant to any particular time, it takes place in a Daedric zone and could have happened at any time? Could be wrong, but for those who never got to play Battlespire, if it is lore friendly, at add Battlespire, with the original story, as a DLC would be awesome.0 -

I mean, the actual Battlespire itself has been in existance since the second era, right? ESO is set in the second era, right?
Sooo...
...it would make -perfect- sense for a DLC sized "super public dungeon", where you have to beat each "floor guardian" (which they could make world boss level, as to remind solo players they should really bring friends every once in a while) to open the gate to the next level... (until the boss respawns at least) with each level increasing in difficulty, starting with "dwelve" balanced on the lower ones, then going to "public dungeon" for the higher ones, and "draglorn dwelve" and so on, until the very top that have full out "veteran dungeon" challenges! The higher you go, the smaller the maps, but the tougher the challenge! And at every level there should be lots of traps, secret doors, unexpected ambushes, surprise teleportation tiles that are not always active, random wandering mobs in addition to the region-bound ones, multi-part puzzles, possibly even multi-level puzzles, and whatever else they can think of to make a dungeon crawl interesting!
If they wanted to, they could even make it mixed PvE/PVP like Imperial City... gust without the "ganking for TV stones" mechanic...1 -

Actually it does, TES:Legends Battlespire is set in 3E 398, (711 years after ESO). For those that didn't know it came out in 1997, right before TES:Legends Redguard and TES:3 Morrowind....

It could even be a miniature DLC like Clockwork City or Murkmire, it certainly is big enough to be exactly that...But, they would need a good reason to bring a story there and somehow explain how our characters managed to skedaddle on over to a slipstream realm (the type of realm which Battlespire sits on, it's a realm between Oblivion and Mundus).
Though, Battlespire was very campy in its nature almost like that of Oblivion, I don't expect to see that tone in ESO. Hah!Welcome, Moon-and-Star, to this place where destiny is made.
I play healers or DPS often for vet dungeons and trials (NA, CP810+). I play mostly elves or Argonians.
I primarily play Damage-Based stuff in PvP, but occasionally I'll play something tanky or got the heals.
I also love gaining more knowledge both metaphysical and mundane regarding TES lore.
I also occasionally role-play, but I prefer playing the game.0 -

Wa2p✭✭✭Yes, I would be excitedCould it be a solo and duo "arena"? I want some specific duo content. I'm sure plenty of spouses/partners that play together feel that way. The wife and I duo dungeons and overworld, and pvp. But like a specific arena would be balla.1 -
Bruccius✭✭✭✭✭Yes, I would be excitedI don't know when the Battlespire was created, but it'd certainly be a welcome addition if it was built around the Second Era. Be it a dungeon, or trial, or whatever, it'd be very neat.
I mean, for those of us who aren't all that lore-focused like myself, the Battlespire was used by the Shadow Legion (Imperial Battlemages of the Imperial Legion) for training. One was able to travel to every plane of Oblivion from the Battlespire, and access to the thing itself was managed through the Weir Gate.
This could be a really neat way for us to explore a Daedric realm, or perhaps the Soul Cairn, since the Ideal Masters apparently also held some sort of presence on the Battlespire.
If it's decided to be a trial, perhaps we'd have to face the Shadow Legion, which has allied itself with the Daedric Princes, and uses the Battlespire to summon armies of Daedra out of all the planes of Oblivion? And then we'd have to find some way to stop it?
