I'll start by stating that I have no interest in PvP builds as that is not a play-style I have any interest in. So, although I certainly appreciate that there are likely a great deal of opinions when it comes to the best PvP stamblade builds available, it's just not something that I am going to be pursuing.

That said - I am currently a lvl 320+ Khajit stamblade with a critical rating currently just below 72% Forgive me, but I don't have access to my character stats/outfitting immediately available, so I will do my best to present what I have from memory. I am already working on increasing my armor to legendary status for full effect (man, what a GRIND) - and I am using several pieces of Storm Master armor to build my critical level with as much oomph as I can. This, along with some other items with divine traits and I feel like I am doing pretty decent overall.

It's a far cry from what I was before when some helpful soul took a look at my crit rating (mid-40's I believe, at the time) and pointed it out as a huge issue. I saw significant change in my character's impact on the battlefield once I started focusing on building that stat as my primary goal.

So, with that, here are my questions.

Low 70% crit rating is great, but is there a way I can get that number even higher? Low 90's?
I just stumbled upon the option to use transmutation as a means to change traits on pieces of armor to divine and build upon that - is there a "cap" on the effects this provides? In other words, if I have all my armor AND jewelry with divine traits do they all stack with each other, or, is there a point when that trait is no longer beneficial and it's a wasted trait?
How beneficial would Twice-Born Star armor be to build upon this core stat even moreso? Again, is there some sort of "cap" in place where stacking too much divine trait gear becomes a wasted trait - or, as the name and description suggest for Twice-Born Star armor - would I be able to double the effect for each piece of armor equipped?
Or - at the very least - what is the best means to build upon that stat even more and truly get the most out of my Thief/Assassin on the battlefield? A 30 percentage point jump was enough to see SIGNIFICANT improvement and the higher I can get that crit percentage, the better.

Thanks!

well then. if you want to deal more damage practicing on a dummy rotation will do. divines is Best in Slot trait anyway for most damage builds, twice born star is the set that gets the most out of it. if you want more crit look into the set that drops in Crypt of Hearts, called Leviathan. there is no cap to what divines provide. there is no divines trait to jewelry.

Thank you for your response, I appreciate it. It seems the community has died down a bit from what it was but your response was helpful. Thanks again.

You are focusing to much on crit. Weapon power is also important. If your weapon power(damage) is low, your crits will also do little damage. Also stamina regen is an important stat. You won't be doing any crits if you run out of stamina. Besides you need stamina for dodge roll and break free or block. So your build has to be a balance between these stats, with crit being the last to work on. The damage bonus of crit strikes can be increased with champion points.

You need to build for penetration, weapon damage, max stamina, crit. and stamina regen. All of these contribute to your DPS. I think it’s safe to say that with 90% crit you would actually be doing less damage as something else would have to suffer to reach it.

I recommend (depending on race) (self buffed) around 60% plus or minus a Khajiit. At least 4-5k penetration (before major fracture), 26000 to 28000 Stamina and 4K to 5k weapon damage. I’m partial to regen personally, so I tend to keep mine around 1500 to 1700 with food, about 2k with potions.

There are lots of ways of reaching these numbers but what I recommend for any Stamblade is simple and easy to put together in a play session or two. Warrior Mundus, all divines Armor. Infused jewelry with weapon damage enchants. 5 Spriggans and 5 Hundings Rage. (Stormfist or Veledrith helm and shoulders) and Orzorga's Tripe Trifle Pocket (food).
