Red detection eye

Why can’t some of my toons see the red detection eye when i or some one else uses a detection skill or potion. I feel like im talking to a wall when ever i report a bug in game and get the reply we passed this info onto the relitive team. But the change is never made.
Also why can i see invisible enemies when i use a detect pot. It clearly says increases stealth detection as in crouching enemies. But the detection skills(camo hunter, mage light and revealing flare) specifically state stealth and invisible enemies implying they are 2 diffrent things.
