Rally / Forward Momentum for Archer

Is it viable to just use rally for the buff / heal without investing in the passives?

I should kinda use it on my Cyro Archer build. Theoretically I shouldn't be in Melee fights therefore not use the 2hander in melee combat.

I use 2H backbar on my archer build for that exact reason. It's literally the only 2H skill I'm running.

I think I still have most of the passives unlocked for when I decide to actually be productive, and for the occasional heavy attack, but if you are really just using it for the buff, sure.

Yep, totally viable. If you’re 5 medium, use shuffle for snare removal and use Rally rather than FM. Powered trait for bigger heals.

Trust me, majority of the people carry a 2h only for the momentum ability. Take that away and 2h as a weapon is absolutely worthless in PvP. ( I mean sure you can use it as a stat stick on stamblade but not really on other classes)

For a true archer nightblade build I would carry a bow on both bars. Stuff like master's bow or asylum bow have crazy strong bonuses you wouldn't want to miss out on.

Well in Battlegrounds I play mostly DW + Bow, but this character is also my original main (thus crafter) and even though I've buckled down and gathered skyshards for the past days.

I can't even hope to max out the three crafting skill lines and both dw / 2 hand / bow / vamp / psijic (should I want that too).

That skill is so useful I run 2h with forward on certain magnb builds
