Dear ZOS,

If you would just acknowledge the fact that the EU server has performance issues you would loose fewer customers. There are many posts out there regarding these issues and yet you fail to communicate to us. First month in 2019 and you are already failing in your promise in better communication towards your player base. There has been tons of posts but no reaction. If this comes to the PTS cycle then please tell us instead of giving us the finger thinking it will pass. We are no ***!

Currently PvP in Cyrodill (Vivec and Sotha) is unplayable, battlegrounds quees are broken and random lag spikes are all over the place.

This will and is costing you paying customers. Keep this up and it is all well deserved.

As long as they don't acknowledge those problems they don't exist.

I was very surprised that Rich was talking about performance issues after the Elsweyr announcement (for 10 seconds but still), something they were very.. ignorant about for a long time.

Random dungeon queues are broken too... In addition there is an obvious ping compared to before, eventhough the ping meter doesn’t show it...

Previous pvp event was really REALLY bad, yet on the ESO live after event ended, their response to the chat spamming "FIX CYRODIIL" (except the timeouts on those people) was that the event went great.
Nothing will change and they never comment on posts like these..

To be honest. There were several different Posts about this issue...and each had a notification, that someone from ZOS answered to it....so I got excited...until every Post was just "dont bump or up a thread."

Well...maybe People would stop to bump up a thread, if they could get the service, which was promised...or at least dont have to leave the homecamp. for like 6-8 Hours because its too laggy ....btw this problem isnt new....

I think this mod is broken as he puts this message up on all EU server performance problems threads he sees :no_mouth:

Oh I had hopes that ZOS noticed the issues, but oh well....

Since sunday 3rd feb, the dungeon finder has really been straining under the pressure come prime time, tried solo queueing, doesnt want to work, tried duo queuing, doesnt want to work, even a full made group, 1 tank 1 healer 2 dps, yep you guessed, it still does'nt want to work.

They know about this problem, and have known for a long time, and there fix is, lets release another dungeon dlc just to quantify the problem.

Yea, I hate having to say this about my favourite MMO ever, but the game has been throwing so much performance bulls**t in my face lately that it's just making me want to go play something else until they fixed it.

At first I thought it was just my PC and people were exagerating these issues but I know better now. Everyday it's either unbearable lag or broken dungeon queues or broken empty battlegrounds... It's always something. Getting very tired of it here.

I find it funny, there was a thread a few days ago asking players about their daily ESO routine and I was going to say "daily pledges, etc" but hell... I don't remember the last time I did all my 3 pledges since the dungeon finder went apes**t.

Look, I have something new to contribute to this thread: It's a new day and the servers are still crappy.

@ZOS_RogerJ I realize this might be your job here, but messages like yours are a slap into the face of everyone who legitimately complains about poor server performance. If people felt like their voices were heard, they wouldn't post in such threads over and over. So please stop posting these condescending messages, thanks.

It seems the more players on server the more it bugged.
I play whole day and morning and daytime everything was absolutely fine - finder ok (even as DD), loading screens also ok. Now evening and EU start his buggy race.

Schrödinger's servers : if you don't look at them, they're both working fine and broken AF.

I am on an optic fiber connexion (up to the router in my home, then Ethernet to my rig) that scores a very stable 300mb/s. I play on a Ryzen 5 2600X, 16 GB of RAM, OS on a SSD, game on another SSD, GTX 1060. Nothing ever overheats, and well, I used to be a system and networks tech, so even though I'm not up to date nowadays I still can make sure my rig is running smoothly.

And yet I get 300+ ping in a freaking delve, loading times of several minutes between places, sudden drop of FPS for no reason whatsoever, skills that won't launch, weapon bars that won't switch, enemies that die with much delay, public dungeons mobst hat don't even attack (that or their animations can't be seen) because of lag...

I haven't worked in that field for over 10 years, and I'm pretty sure I could do a better job. Well, assuming that I don't have to run a failure like Fallout 76 on the same servers to cut costs, that is.

Instead of friendly reminders about bumping discussions about EU server performance in past week it might be helpful to get an official statement about what is going on and how is ZOS progressing with fixing the issue.
I know there is no easy and instant fix to the problem, but some actuall communication between developer and players would be much appreciated. Simple "we know about poor EU performance and investigating whats wrong" is much better than nothing.

One topic that keeps on the front page because people are constantly posting on it is a lot more effective at keeping the issue in the developers' face than a mass of topics with a handful of posts that quickly drop off the front page.

Just a friendly reminder to fix what needs fixing. Like your group finder and your server performance.
At some point people will lose their calm.

Ugh, whatever, why bother even. Great game, but past few weeks all I've done is log of in utter disappointment with your inability to fix these 2 issues. Never before did I regret buying a 6 month sub as hard as I have been the past few weeks.

I hope there's a ton more people like me who simply cancel their ESO+

I'm here to read messages... because I can't play since 18 h 00. I can't play in the weekend because of the 999+ ping and many disconnections..

I disagree: One single server performance topic among all the other random threads that someone feels like opening will get lost. At least now the issue is visible. And why collect the server complaints in one single thread when there are numerous simultaneous "Altmer got nerfed", "new Khajit is against the lore", "Someone kicked me from a vet dungeon again" threads?

I end up having to schedule playing off-peak as peak times will usually result in extremely long load screens (Think 10+ Minutes) Skills never firing when pressed (And then mass firing later) and horrendous lag spikes.. I don't play PVP and I've only recently started doing dungeons, but can totally believe that sometimes its completely unplayable purely off the experiences I've already had.

I'm coming back after a 6+ month break, and honestly is disheartening to be faced with the same issues i faced when I last actively played. I'm hoping this year you could change, maybe address certain issues that you surely know about. I've preordered Elsweyr and continue my ESO+ because i do want this game to continue, I love nearly everything this game has given me, but the server issues are something that can't be brushed off...

As expected, im finding it difficult to participate in the Morrowind event purely because of server lag and other issues ive already spoken of.

I shouldn't have to play Off-peak to get a good play time.
