Other ways from skills include the Purge skill (in the support skill line) and the Blue Betty morph of Betty Netch for Wardens.
There are also several sets that remove negative effects on certain conditions, such as Wyrd Tree's Blessing (and Curse Eater if the current proposed changes on the PTS go to live).

It depends on your class and spec as to how you deal with too many negative effects. Whenever people post threads like this, it's great if you can give us some background info so we can provide specific help.

In short however, you just deal with them via making sure you're healing and mitigation is properly set up. There aren't many classes that can afford to slot efficient purge due to bar space.

curse eater after patch (will be still tweaked, so not sure how viable it will be for trials, but looked viable enough for dungeons) , purge from support skill line (high cost). also second skill in restoration staff have a morph that removes negative effects and insta heals your target if he falls below % of health (dont remember the %)
