Forum observation: People despise nerfs but also are concerned about power creep.

    And if it's not, well, simple explanation.
    There's a big difference between nerfing what we already have, and adding things that are better than what we have.
    They are neither mutually exclusive, I.E. power creep occurs in the absence of nerfs (power creep can continue even with nerfs of older things)
    Nor are they mutually inclusive, I.E. power creep occurs because of nerfs of current things (Newer, stronger tools, sets, abilities, passives, etc can outpace current implementations without nerfs to current things)

    Nerfs do not inherently combat power creep, nor do they necessarily cause it.
    They're two separate issues.

    There. There's your question answered. Case closed.

    main issue i find with new changes is , theres is race that have fire resistance and good for picking up as vampire and good race for werewolfs is Argonian for poison reis , but with new changes they keep fire resistance for other race and removed poison reis which is really bad move

    The problem is that new things are too strong, cause power creep and later need to be nerfed. The problem is that when they don't make it "better" no one uses it because what they have now is good enough.

    So the problem is that we don't have a true progression bump. We need some sort of seasonal gear/power/level reset.

    Back when we have Vet levels they had the right idea. The problem is people hated it. Because it meant farming every time they rose the vet level. I think shying away from that gear reset was a mistake.

    I did the whole jaw-drop thing when I realized this MMORPG doesn't do "real levels" after 50. I played WoW and RIFT for a decade.... re-gearing is normal/natural for me. So this game's setup is.... not very intuitive for me. I had no idea that my "max level 50" warden was going to go to total squish the MINUTE she leveled up from 49 to 50. BIG surprise - and not in a good way....
