Do i have anmesia orr??? I go to zonechat asking 8 wax for 32k and people FLIP OUT! They claim they have never seen it less than 6k (and i quote) "EVER!"
I COULDVE SWORN I WAS BUYING THEM FROM GUILD STORES FOR 4k-4.8k LIKE 2-3 MONTHS AGO! Everyon seems to be selling them for 7k per in guild stores. Wtf is going on...

Well, from my experience it's like 1 gold temper on 200 raw material. So for 1 character it's 48 dreugh wax (1 piece heavy) = 9600 of raw material - yeah that amount you will get from usual pve roaming, several month, hundreds of dungeons. But if you have a lot of characters, let's say 8, this is 76800! And this is a LOT of raw material.0 -

✭On Xbox EU most guilds actually cap the price people can sell it (per piece) and that’s at 6K0 -
Could it be a case of the RNG of D wax (in particular) on refine dropping seems to have reduced? This might in turn reflect an increase in price. On a personal note, I enjoy foraging, harvesting materials, and do a lot of crafting writs. I'm lucky to have the time or energy to do so. However, I seem to drop more wax from doing crafting writs currently than I do refining silk, or leather. Just my observations. Incidentally I rarely sell wax as I generally use it myself. It's a beautiful feeling to have top end gear crafted regardless of the level of difference between elegant lining or dreugh wax.

Price hikes due to increased botting, anticipation of daily rewards of 100k, and pure greed. I rarely buy gold mats, other than rosin, but when I do its the odd 1 or 2 pieces, so the increase doesn't bother me much. It is an unwelcome spike none the less.1 -

I've noticed the jump from 5K to 7K-8K as well. I guess i'll have to hold off on golding out gear until these crackhead prices subside.
