What race will your use on your healers after changes go live?

Khajiit / Altmer / Breton / Dunmer as usual.

I'll continue to use my Redguard Sorc Healer.

I actually rolled Altmer not to long ago and I honestly see no major difference when healing Vet or Trials. Both races perform well but admittedly the extra damage Altmer provides as a hybrid is an added bonus.

I want to make a PvP Templar healer and I am thinking between Breton and Argonian. I think for PvE Breton is better than Argonian, but I'm concerned about PvP. Someone please tell me that Argonian isn't the BiS race for PvP... I just don't want to play as an Argonian. I don't have anything against them, they're a great race with interesting lore, but I for this char I don't want a beast race.

I pvp, if things stay like they are on the most recent PTS patch I’ll be changing all my healers to Breton.

    I really don’t see a choice.
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
Condemned and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

I will be waiting to see what actually goes live before I make my decision, then will probably still wait a bit longer for the inevitable shrieking to die down and Zos's unavoidable "oopsie, we didn't forsee this problem. Making more changes now" patch. All snarkiness and sarcasm aside, Breton is looking good for my PvE healer, but I'll probably keep my PvP Argonian. I'm pretty attached to her ugly little face.

She's always been a Bosmer and I'd change games before changing races.

Well said. My healer is a Khajiit since launch, and will stay as he is. I'm so happy he will now have magicka passives, but if it was not the case... I already spent five years without them.

    Favorite Foods and Potions
    https://media.giphy.com/media/3otPoTggaYFNd1FdAI/giphy.gif
    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

You most definitely don't have to change especially for healers. Most of don't even care about our race as you seen in this thread. Make your race work for you instead of owing you.

Well dunmer gets stam+magicka + spell damage+burning immunity which is really viable for a healer in pvp. Also Altmer gets extra stam regen + 5% less damage when casting ult in pvp in the current build so it's viable too. You don't have to play argo if you don't want to. I personally will not. Breton is arguably the best choice for healer whatever content you play.
