Yes, pretty much. It’s a go to for mag classes so understandable that about half of the peeps in a BG would be running it. Your right though, it does feel like the sky is falling sometimes! Lol 😆

Random question but does anyone use soul assault? The damage on the tooltip seems crazy high but I've never tried it because I dont have a max level magicka character yet.

It is capable of high damage but can be blocked.
It leaves you vulnerable as it's a channel.
It's best versus inexperienced enemies.

I'll block, I'll block like my life depends on it. Thank the Nine that my Ruby Ash stick can parry meteors....

I dont care if youre in Cyrodil and both other factions entire servers cast it one after another, if youre dying to meteor, sorry. Its legit one of the worst ultimates in the game.

It comes and goes off my bar, depending on my setup. I like to keep my resource pools identical when I bar swap and rarely run any build with varying stats, so I often slot Meteor on back bar just to keep mag equal when I single-bar Radiant Magelight on the front. Otherwise... nah. I prefer other options.

I slot meteor (Shooting Star) for the extra 2% magicka and magicka recovery. I don't use my ultimates as often as I should.

It's okey. You can't do any other damage while its channeling, so the 5k or so damage per second that it does is all you get (aside from any already running dots). If you catch someone with it who is out of resources its pretty much a guaranteed kill, but a prepared player just blocks and heals through it.

I see Dongbreaker a trillion times more than Meteor, and that Dongbreaker is often paired with Beetles and Spin2win. #Skill
