How to get access to DLC?

Coming back to the game after a very long break. What's the cheapest way to get access to all the DLC content that's been released so far, like Morrowind/Wardens and such.

I see that Summerset is $20, but the rest of the DLC is jumbled up on the crown store for seemingly $20 to $30 each which seems just wrong.

Morrowind and Summerset are both chapters so the only way to get access to those is to purchase it. DLC's such as Murkmire, Orsinium etc you can either purchase those from the crown store or you get access to those with an ESO+ membership which is probably the cheapest way to play the content.

As previously said Morrowind and Summerset are chapters, these were released as larger updates which you had to buy outside the Crown Store.

During Summerset's release Morrowind was downgraded to a DLC and broken into parts you could buy individually from the Crown Store.

Players with an active ESO+ will get access to all DLC but not expansions. Otherwise you need to buy each expansion individually for crowns in the Crown Store. There are various game versions which have some of these included.

A month of ESO Plus will grant you access to most of the game. Do that, for starters. Lots of content there, without feeling like you are missing too much.

Yea, but, I would expect Vivec can access all areas of Tamrial without issue.

But this quote sums it up nicely for those who are not god like.

Cheapest if you just buy eso+ for an month.
that included morrowind but not warden.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

So a membership and buying Summerset will get me access to everything? The main things I'm wanting are Morrowind and Wardens.

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i think that wardens are no longer part of MW, so you'd need to buy them through the crown store regardless of what version of the game, or subbing

ESO+ will give access to Vvardenfell area, but you'll have to buy warden class in crown store.

One other thing of note in case you ever need to know if you play on PC.

Chapters on PC work on both NA and EU servers, purchased DLCs and ESO+ only works on the server you purchase it for.

The Morrowind chapter consists of the Morrowind DLC (Vvardenfell zone, accessible via ESO+) and the Warden class (offered separately).

If you buy any of the Elsweyr packages containing Morrowind and Summerset, both are full chapters.

if you get ESO plus it'll give you some crowns. I think that's probably enough for you to buy the warden class for your account.
Summerset + ESO plus unlock all places in the game though.

that is not entirely true. ESO + and crowns are shared across both servers. crown store purchases - are not, so for example, if you buy 5500 crowns and buy a warden - you only will have a warden on a server you bought it on, and amount of crowns will reduce on both servers, BUT eso + benefits will be active on both servers, as ESO plus is platform related, rather then server related

Check the relevant "store" for pricing on some DLC's.

This may not be the case for PC, but for XBox you can buy a bundle
with 4 of the older DLC's for a really cheap price.

The newer DLC's are only available via subscription or crowns.

    Just an idea...
