I heard from several players that players who had the gift of Hircine had stamina regeneration when they were not in werewolf form but it was ultimately removed. I can understand why it was removed as you have to transform into being a werewolf to get the bonuses while a vampire doesn't have to do this since they are always a vampire.
But, if you think about the flip side, it doesn't make sense that players that do have Hircine's gift wouldn't get any bonuses at all while not in werewolf form.
For example:
Let's say you have 2 players that are the same race, class, role and with the same gear sets, traits, and enchantments. Why would the player who has the gift of Hircine have the same stamina regeneration as a player who doesn't have lycanthropy at all? That does not make any sense whatsoever.
My suggestion would be that players who do have lycanthropy will get half of the stamina regeneration of what they would normally get while in werewolf form. This will mostly benefit tanks and promote more people wanting to be werewolves. It wouldn't be too overpowered.
As of right now, I see way more vampires than werewolves in the game and the number one reason, from what people tell me, is because you gain no bonuses whatsoever while not in werewolf form. In my personal opinion, I feel like players who want to be a werewolf and have Hircine's power running through their veins that they should get some benefit from not being in werewolf form because they have the gift.
I would like to know what other people's thoughts are about this and if you really consider the reasoning why they should get some benefit, no matter how small, it would make complete sense.
Hircine is supposedly this powerful Daedric prince and his gift is just as powerful. It should yield some benefit in having lycanthropy versus another player who doesn't have lycanthropy.
