What are your average GPU/CPU temps in ESO?

I'm curious to see how cool most players keep their PCs just in case I need to adjust my fan speeds. On average, what sort of temps do you see on your PC? And feel free to add other categories

Towns & Cities
GPU: 50-60C
CPU: 40-50C

Overworld
GPU: 60-70C
CPU: 50-55C

Dungeons/Trials
GPU: 65-75C
CPU: 50-55C

Battlegrounds/Cyrodiil
I don't PvP often so I don't have numbers for those.

If that kind of data is of interest to you, I'll give it a look next time I login and edit my post here.

However, I think it's pretty insignificant without at least knowing the model of said processor and GPU. Temperature alone won't help much without a point of comparison. Also, between stock cooler, top notch air cooler, and watercooling, you'll experience some major differences, I expect.

EDIT - Did check some of the values. CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X with a high grade air cooler, GPU is an Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB, as basic as you can find them.

Town : CPU 55-60, GPU 50-55 °C
Overworld : CPU 50-52, GPU 52-55 °C
Public Dungeon : CPU 52 °C (stable through several checks), GPU 55-57 °C

I had recently deleted my shader cache (just before today's server crash, to be accurate), so there might have been an unusually high load on the GPU. I suspect there was anyway, because my frame rate was abnormally inconsistent. This would have led to a slight increase in GPU temperature.

AMD card here... with busted fans to boot... my temps reach ~80 on heavy fights, but normal temps are around 70 on idle while in game.

CPU never goes above ~60 to 65 deg for me.

I pretty much just run trials, vet dungeons, 4-5 hours a night. Temps from end of session.

• 7700k OC'd @ 5.0GHz - 40C.
• RTX 2080 @ stock - 61C.

I recently installed a 360mm AIO and did a delid on my CPU with liquid metal to keep temps on my CPU nice and cool.

Used to have it at 4.8GHz on air cooling and it'd reach up to 70C on a long session.

Only because I live in the tropics and game on a laptop.

No clue.... I don't check stuff like that, 'cause no matter what I have open (game, excel, browser, email....) it all works just fine.

8700k runs at about 40-45c
2080 runs at about 50-56c

Oh god, this is such a mood right now.

For my potato, it still doesn't get too far above 61-65°C for me. Unless I'm doing sacrifices. Or BBQ.

Just got an rtx 2070, it doesn't even bother to turn on the fans in ESO.

Because you play on 1080p probably
Try on 4k where the GPU will be loaded on 70-90% at 60fps

On the topic:

CPU i7740x @5ghz temp does not go above 40c with 22c ambient temperature. Even if i load the CPU with 4 instances of ESO to reach 100% load the temps are sitting comfortably at 55-58c because of the Monster 360mm water cooling


GPU, 1080ti evga SC2 on 4k resolution 60fps ( around 55-65% load ) and 50% fan speed is sitting at 40c

Gaming laptop is sizzling hot level.. summertime so much that pressing wasd buttons almost burning fingers. Not joking.

Desktop pc is all cool compared to when playing on laptop. Obviously.

I actually go to Shadowfen to stress my GPU, it makes it run at 98-100% instead of the 45-55% while in towns.

My GPU is an MSI GTX 960 4G, that's overclocked, so my Temps are between 50-60°C.
The CPU is an i5-6600 so.. Not an issue. I put a 212x Tower Cooler on it. Temps are usually around 45°C.
