For the Racial Changes, can Redguards have an ability to change stamina to magic regen and bonuses?

I REALLY do not want to use the racial token to change races. I feel like I would be betraying the identity of this character if I did that. Instead, why can't Redguards have an ability to change their stamina bonuses instead to magicka? Why is this not possible? Maybe take a hit in the ability points area? But we should have this ability.

Also why not the other races as well, able to swap their magicka to stamina instead?
I mean its just swapping stamina to magicka or vice versa.

    Why would you have to change races? I mean Redguard wasn't meant to be a Magicka race before the changes and it won't be one after.

    So why even consider turning Stamina bonuses into Magicka bonuses?

    I like the idea overall but more of an additional game mechanic / crafting (someone brought up "Reforging", look up that thread if you're interested) that everybody can adjust their build to Stamina or Magicka in their own ways.

    yes, but you have to use a special technique called race change, and change them to something called Bretons

    If I got a bosmer Sorc Healer then I think you be fine with your redguard.

    My redguard sorcerer is already at end game, acheives, vet trials, etc.

    I just do not like the idea of redguards losing so much dps at end game just because of "race", its actually kinda BS.

    btw, when I played this game, I just started with a character I "liked" as well as race/class combination. No I wasn't a nerd and looked up all that *** about what class/race is optimal crap. Most mmorpgs that I've played do not have this particular tract compared to ESO, which is actually annoying with ESO.

    Its actually the Lore wich defined that some races are more connected with magicka and some more with physical weapons.

    As far as i remember there is also a description in character creation telling you what each race has to offer no?

    And with the upcoming changes to redguard you wont loose any dps if you play a magicka spec anyway.

    I don't understand, if you play as a RG mag sorc on live than you should be happy because 8% cost reduction applies to weapons skills and ults which includes staves, as well as adrenaline rush being changed to direct dmg. Sta return and max stam can work pretty well for an interesting pvp build.

    If you play as a RG stam sorc than RG is arguably the best choice for stam sorc because we don't have class execute or spammable so the 8% cost reduction is crazy effective. All the races are within 1k dps of each other in the margin of 60k dps, with even less differences at lower dps.

    If you want to race change you get a free token.

    Well ya because there is no current boost for magicka in any of the racial passives. Thought this racial change was going to change this as it is supposed to be a change where racials will be able to be more diversified in the classes they play.

    With this new change, Redguard MagSorc wills still not be a thing.

    Where did you get that number? Are you perhaps thinking Redguard StamSorc? Because I'm talking about Redguard MagSorc.

    Its great that Redguards will at least have mag reduction skill as you pointed out but what is there to be happy when most of the passives here only apply to Stamina? Playing a MagSorc for Redguard, you are still losing out on a LOT compared to other racials that are more optimized for Magicka.

    But as I pointed out, all this can be easily rectified by giving Redguards the ability to convert stamina passives to magicka passive maybe in the way of cp points? I mean, if all of you are saying the damage different between all races are really like only 2k off, then why can't we just have an ability for Redguard to convert their stamina passives to magicka?

    Do you know why? Because it's complete *** that its only 2k off for all races.

    Its only 2k maybe for those races OPTIMIZED to play a class according to their passive boosts.

    That's the very reason I really dislike the fact that stealth bonus is being removed from the Bosmers. I could have an even better bonus as a Khajiit, but... My character is a Bosmer through and through, not a Khajiit. And a thief that will be a stealthy as an Orc or a Nord. So I'll have to chose whether i like being a thief more, and thus completely ruin her identity, or whether I like her identity more, and thus lose the ability that made her an awesome thief.

    At the very least, you didn't build your character around an ability that will soon be taken away for the weirdest reasons. You may have chosen a sub-optimal race for yourcharacter, but you did so knowingly.

    Now, in your case, that would be solved if EVERY skill had both a stamina and a magicka morph. Or if, at least all class skills had, and the game also included one melee magicka based weapon. Or even better, if all skills relied on the same ressource (would have been needed as a design choice from the start, doing that now would be a mess), thus making every skill viable for everyone.

    But there might be another solution that could be useful for you. A weird one, of course. Ever thought of using the Prisoner's Rags set ? Somehow I feel a Redguard magicka user could make good use of it.
