Are you having fun? If yes, you are playing it right.
While I can definitely see where you're coming from with that sentiment, it's true - just aim for having fun. Make goals for yourself like soloing dungeons or getting achievements. That sort of thing. as a 32 year old gamer, i have stopped having fun when the Xbox 360/PS3 came out haha. i just play games to kill the massive amount of free time i have (on disability and never leave the house)
Games today are really garbage compared to PS2/N64/SNES generations.....imo
