I want to transfer my characters to NA server

Dear ZOS could u please move my stuff and characters to your favourite server? I want the service im paying for, and im pretty sure im not the only one..

    what dip in latency....Have you seen the EU ping lately? Its better on US servers

    Well.. Before EU moved to actually be a physical server in the EU, it was located in NA. Back then my ping was about 50 to 60. After it moved to EU, my ping has always been about 100.

    Would you say I'd be wise to cut my losses and start anew on PC NA? I've only been playing for a week so wouldn't be losing too much. Only the gear research might sting a little bit. But that's it.

    Yes. Better now then later, only downside is all the friends u have made still will be on EU server. But if u have a easy time with fresh starts and looking forward for what the future will bring, like me, then go for it! :)

    You watch what you wish for. I’m in the U.K. and I started on the NA server and also played on EU and sorry but unless you want over 200 latency - often over 250, you just stay put.

    Won't happen, only reason ZOS did the transfer from PC to PS was because the PS database was empty.

    And U.K. on NA server is 200 min usually around 250 - lol so yeah! Come on over if you like lag.

    Think I'll do just that then. I'm actually really lucky. The edition I purchased on Steam last week even comes with a mount.

    Gonna' suck on the houses though. Going to have to start my inn room all over again... *sigh*

    It could be worse though.

    It could be worse though.

    Try experimenting a bit there first, to see how your ping / latency is. Check in cyrodiil for example. Ive heard performance varies, based on ppls location :)

    I play on both servers and really don't notice a great deal of difference in performance. I will say that I haven't done any trials on the US though, and it's trials that cause performance problems for me on EU. I went to Cyro on the US during the event and had no problems there.

    Since it's taking me 10 minutes to log in a character on the EU anyway (even before the loooong load screen to get into the game) lately and I'm getting more and more lag as time goes on, the US server doesn't seem any worse to me.

    You might as well start a character on the US and see how it goes, it doesn't cost any extra. The only thing to note is that although your ESO+ and chapters will transfer across, items you've bought in the CS won't. At least I can play my noob characters whilst I wait for the EU server to get its act together.

    I've already created an NA character, but letting go on my EU character is hard though, so much I done there.

    In this context, are you saying that NA really is better, or are you saying there is still something left to be desired on NA?

    From where are you connecting? China?

    I play eso for cyrodiil and BG's. Tell me the lag and ping is worse again on US servers. I dont know about you pve guys, but for pvp, the US servers seem way better.

    However, if you buy things from the ESO website itself, not the in-game Crown Store, that stuff DOES transfer across servers. So always see if you can buy it from the website first, since there are a few things that can be bought either way. Something I wish I had known when I started, because I would love to not be missing most of my stuff on my EU toons.

    Yeah... Not much choice but to stick to EU for me. Ping is way too high on NA.
