Why the difference in maintenance times between EU and US (PC)????

US maintenance = 04:00 - 07:00

EU maintenance = 04:00 - 11:00

7 hours maintenance for the EU? are you serious? That's the equivalent of a days sub for me - can I get the time back?

I know it is long - I was surprised too - but it is what it is and things need doing.

I know it is long - I was surprised too - but it is what it is and things need doing.

Not being funny but twice the time to update one server even though they are the same game is pretty pathetic. And it's not the money - that doesn't bother me in the slightest - its the disregard for EU players YET again. (search for complaints about the EU server getting ignored or breaking down/crashing etc).

nope, he didnt say that, but atleast we know the reason for the discrepancy...some communication is better than none

I found the server performance of the PC-EU poor last weekend so if this helps I'm all for it. Then again I'm at work anyway.

I'd expect it to take 3 hours, the same as the other server.

But SaintSubwayy has explained above what the issue is.

Still not happy (dunno what that word means :P) but good that someones took the time to explain.
