Problem with Essential Housing Tools- any help?

I am trying to use Essential Housing Tools to place 66 attuned crafting stations in my house. I follow all instructions- select all stations in the group select, go to "build" select "Crafting Stations (pods), arrange the build near me and set it to building. All looks great. The stations start moving into position and for a brief moment it looks like I will be able to just reorient the group to put them where I want...then, they start to disappear. I see that it is still building but now it is moving the stations- when it is done, the stations end up 1200 meters out to sea. I try to use the tool to bring them closer to me and it will move them closer, and then move them right back. Any suggestions?
