What is actually considered a negative effect in game? I am asking this question with curse eater on the horizon it made public there are a lot of things that are negative effects. So now I am wondering about purge and it's ablitity to reduce negative effect strength by 50 percent, might actually be under used in situations.

    Snare/roots meta
Movement speed, or there lack of
    Trash server performance
Devs that are out of touch with the game by introducing proc sets and sets that require no skill
    MMR in BG’s
    Snipe.
    These are all negative effects

You should just stop posting nonsense questions on the forums.

It's not a nonsense question. For example, some players might not know that some skills are considered negative effects and can be purged (like Daedric Curse, which doesn't actually say something like "afflicts enemy with [x]" or "does [x} damage over [x] seconds").

Daedric Curse is a skill that looks similar to a direct damage skill, with a twist that the damage simply happens to be delayed in its arrival. I don't know why it's considered a negative effect, but the game classifies it as such.
