AD morning caps on Vivec, EP does so on Sotha and DC is still sleeping because they zerg Vivec into unplayability with their trash guilds every night.
I rarely speak in the forums nowadays but there are things I want to say. Its about something we are telling ZOS for years and with Wrobel gone I try once more to get ZOS attention to the matter.
But first 2 screenshots:
Sotha Sil late sunday morning, EU server
EP has a lot more players for hours but neither AD nor DC got the low population bonus.
Its not about the population bonus I'm complaining its about the population imbalance. Sure u can win a campaign with the low population bonus applying all the time but some ppl dont care about winning or losing. I WANT TO HAVE FUN WHILE I PLAY.
Despite the bad performance during the PvP event I had sooooo much fun just because player numbers where even and there was a constant back and forth and good fights. Now this is NOT PvP its "zerg vs player". And this is definetly NOT fun.
So pls ZOS I beg of you, reconsider a dynamic queue system. Or think about something else I dont care. But CHANGE it. I'm really really tired of this. Its just aweful.
Maybe you guys have some ideas how ZOS could work on the problem of popluation imbalance.

Groups have too much advantage when fighting solo players or smaller groups.

Working as intended.
20 players all spamming an AoE that does 5k damage per tick should outdamage a single player spamming dizzying swing.
If you want to duel, go to Wayrest.
If you want small vs small, go to battlegrounds.
If you want to fight zergs, Cyrodiil is it.
I'm not saying that I like this (all the time), but that's the way it's always been, and it's very likely that this won't ever change.
If one player should be able to kill 20 others, how can that be considered balanced? Seriously - propose something that makes sense for everyone..

This would be great to help balance populations but would kill the current campaign scoring system. Let's be honest though, the campaign scoring system has always been broken. Might as well scrape it.
I think this would be nice but they would need to make a few changes...
- Restrict group size to 12
- If you are in a group, (Duo, Small Man, Large Guild) all members are put into the same alliance.
- The Queue keeps track of group sizes in each alliance and tries to even them out.
- AD = 2 groups of 12 & Solos
- DC = 3 groups of 6 & Solos
- EP = No Groups - all solos
The next groups to join would be put on EP until the groups evened out.
Really this is the concept of battlegrounds but in an open world environment. This would help make the pirate faction one step closer to reality. When you queue in you can end up fighting anyone

Here is the other solution then....introduce friendly fire....and lets see then 20 players spamming AOE.
If one player is able to kill 20 then there is something wrong with that 20 players...either they are new to the game...or not properly build or geared up.
In my experience as a solo player, 2 good players always kill me. A group of 5 new players cannot kill me and i can kill them with a little bit of kiting.
Big zergs is a waste of players time imo. Neither zerg players have a challenge nor the players that got in their way.
And to your suggestions of what should i do in PVP....I'm not down for dueling as it requires a specific build based on lots of self heals, sustain and mitigation it is not quite mobile nor bursty, it is interesting for few fights only.
I'm not down for small vs small as it is usually a 4v1 most of the time which means easy kills and it ends up quite quickly with a wipe in a 4 vs zerg fight. Not down for BGs either as it is all about BG goals...do it quickly till you die....then re-spawn and repeat...
The most enjoyable play-style i find is to go open-world-solo. There you have to build your character to be mobile, bursty, sustainable and tanky....of course you cannot have all of them maxed out....you have to trade in some of them for others.
And i look at zergs as at a hurricane, it changes the map's layout and there is nothing you can do...i just fish around it for solo encounters when it is near me.
