Pve and Pvp

Does Zos know that these two game plays are not the same?
Me and so.a friend's just finished playing BG's and went wonderfully until deathmatch.
Honestly, some of the buffs and debuffs in this game are so cool.......I'm pve. Some don't belong in pvp.
Why can't they nerf pvp or pve in its respected areas? Like try taking stun , c.c.'s and snares out of BG's for a week and see how it does. Or make racial passives optional or self assigned?

He's right you know. The 2 games are different. Different skills, different gear. PITA to swap a toon around for one or the other. What we really need are "load outs", where you can select a gear/skill set from a list, or similar.

Plus anything that reduces the CC cancer from ESO would be welcome. Both in pve and pvp.

There is an addon for that... several actually.

Add-ons are amazing!

Also, not available for console players.

ESO Has the least amount of uptime on CC's out of any MMORPG I have ever played. Most of the MMORPGs I have played you can chain CC's together, stunlocking your opponent. In those games there is no way to counter CCs. In my opinion, that is terrible game design.

ESO has break free to get rid of hard CCs, purge to get rid of soft CCs, and roll dodge to get rid of immobilizations. There are sets out the to cleanse soft CCs as well. After breaking free from a hard CC you gain 7 seconds of hard CC immunity. There is more, but I don't want to start ranting.

This is a L2P issue, plain and simple.

I run my main character through both aspects of the game. It does reasonbly well in deathmatches, just today I hit 1 million damage in a single deathmatch. And I mostly score over 10 kills easily. Oh and I am a Brigadier already.

The same toon has done most dungeons in veteran hardmode with no deaths and under 20 minutes. And it's only 550 CP.

Yes, I get my behind handed to me by some players in deathmatches and I haven't even attempted trials, except Cloud rest which was easy. But that's part of the game - you win some, you lose some.

Trying to ask for nerfs and being afraid of loss and death is just childish, imo. The more you are killed, the better you'll get. If you pay attention of course.

Go spend a few weeks in VMA, you'll get used to death. :P

WHAT AM I SAYING! You cannot even play VMA with total bug fest. Could only imagine what it would do to our peasant game with MODS

CC was designed for pvp. In pve you don't need them.

Complaining about cc in pvp is like complaining that it gets cold in the winter. You're venting and will change nothing, because what you're asking for is a part of the game.

It's an Addon called alphagear. Brilliant, map a key and in an instant, you can change skills, gear, poisions and outfit. It can't change cp or attributes and you need the gear in your inventory to equip. You can setup 16 different sets. Sadly the poor console users can't use the addon.
