ESO random crashes

Hello everyone,

I've been having random crashes while playing ESO (through Steam) since I installed it like 2 months ago. It happens randomly and my screen turns black and my computer starts making this ''humming crash sound''. My computers doesn't respond so I have to restart my computer using the power button. As I said, it happens randomly; sometimes it happens after playing for 15 min and sometimes it happens after playing for 3 hours. BTW this only happens while playing ESO and doesn't happen while playing other games (Total War: Warhammer 2 for example).

I have tried the following things;

- Reinstalling ESO and wiping the registry (still have the crashes, however, I have the feeling they occur less frequently)
- My computer is brand new so I stress tested it aswell using Heaven Benchmark; its runs fine (there is nothing wrong with the power supply, temperature of my graphics card, etc.)
- Lowering in game graphics; did not work
- I tried setting my graphics card (AMD Radeon r9 290) back to an earlier version; did not work. Setting it back to an even older version also didn't work.
- https://steamcommunity.com/app/306130/discussions/0/611701360826896362/ ; dit not work
- https://steamcommunity.com/app/306130/discussions/0/133262487493742596/ ; did not work

So as you can see I tried a lot of things so hopefully someone here can help me? It would be much appreciated!

Thx in advance!

    If your entire PC is crashing while playing ESO it could indicate a more serious issue beyond the game installation. You may want to check the temperatures of the graphic card and CPU while playing ESO to make sure nothing is overheating. You can also open a ticket with our customer support team. You can send them a game consultant to investigate the issue further.

    If it's not obviously overheating or something, I would turn on driver verifier, find it by pressing window key then typing 'verifier'. Google and read up on it first, but if your not overtaxing your hardware it's likely a driver having problems. I had problems from a Samsung SSD driver and reinstalled Windows three time do the blue screens, but because the drivers for all the hardware kept going back on, it kept happening.
