What are "good" stats for a MAGDK?

I play a MAGDK, Altmer. I'm trying to find out what kind of numbers I should be striving for on the character sheet. For example I have no idea if 1000 spell penetration is any good or not. I did not include my skill, rotation, or armor/weapon sets, because right now I'm more interested in finding out where I need to be stat wise to be any good. Also, which stats are more important. Ex. do I care about weapon damage while using a staff?

    Okay so you'll want about 40K Magicka and 17K hp and stamina basically doesn't matter. This is with a food/drink buff the best for MagDk is Witchmothers brew.

    You don't need weapon damage when using a staff. Staff scales with Spell damage and Max magicka.

    There is a number of armor set ups you can use. The easiest to get is Law of julianos crafted set and Silks of the Sun buyable set. Silks of the sun allows you to do more fire damage which will be almost all your damage. I use SIlks of the Sun and Burning Spellweave which you can get from the dungeon City of Ash 1 (and 2 but 1 is easy). The meta (most damage) set up uses Siriora from the Cloudrest trial (12 man dungeon thing) and Spell strategist which are harder to get.

    The monster set which you get from veteran dungeons there are 3 good options. Vulkan Skoria, Grothdar and Zaan. Zaan does the most damage but is very hard to get, Skoria is hard but does more single target damage and Grothdar does more AoE damage.

    All divines using the apprentice mundus stone.

    Infused inferno staves. back bar Flame damage enchantment and front bar weapon/spell damage enchantment.

    Bar set up:
    Front bar: Engulfing flames (10s), burning embers(12s), molten whip/lash (spam), Harness Magicka, Inner Light. Ulti: Elemental rage (will become Meteor next patch)
    Back bar: Elemental blockade (8s), eruption (15s), Flames of Oblivion (15s), Beast Trap (60s), Inner Light. Ulti: Dragonknight Standard (24s).

    Notice that I have put how long each of your abilities last. So to settle into a rotation that allows you to keep up all those abilities up at all times and light attack between each use of an ability.
