Worth coming back?

PC NA here. Thinking about coming back to eso. I haven't played since a bit after summerset was released. Just wondering how the games population is these days and if there were any major changes that happened after summerset. It seemed like the playerbase had been slowly dying
when I quit and I don't want to come back if it's too much worse. I miss the game but I don't want to come back if it's a shadow of it's former self.

I think its good. People talk about the decline but each event the amount of new folks staggers me. Levelling up etc. I'm xbox Eu so not directly relevant.

Wards got changed a ton if you are a mag player. They Crit now and use resistants etc. Bridges & milegates are destructable in Cyro

Give some context, what content you play / toons etc. I'm sure PC boys can talk more on health of pop etc

There have been numerous changes since Summeret and more in the works. Class/Race, passive , skills and most likely upcoming CP changes. One thing that hasen't changed is the lousy game performance especially in PvP. You can look at the latest upcoming changes in the new update set to launch in June.

ZOS likes to make a lot of changes and disregard game performance issues.

I play it all but mainly magsorc and nbs. Both pvp and pve.

It won't cost you anything to find out.

After all, you know what you liked and disliked about the game before, so how can anyone else advise you whether you'll like or dislike it now?

Specifically, however, there have been changes which some like and some dislike, but the population remains at least as strong as pre-Summerset and arguably stronger. Rather than read about past changes, however, I'd recommend you to log in and see how you find it. Depending on your playstyle, you might not even notice the changes that if you read about them from a different perspective might unreasonably deter you. Suffice to say that most of the players who have quit the game at various point over the past couple of years are seemingly still here - including those who quit on the strongest moral principles!

If you’ve been gone since Summerset then you may notice the shield change on your magsorc and the funnel health and path changes for magblade I guess will be the big class change for you

The race changes coming we’re still working it all out as it’s only just on pts
