Templar is already very similar to a Paladin.
Summoner is basically sorcerer.
Illusionist similar to nightblade I guess.
Bard would be unique but I dont think would be a very serious or lore friendly class as its a fantasy MMO but not THAT type of fantasy.
Shaman is the more likely option of the list.
I suppose we could have a barbarian class too that would be able to dual wield 2 handed weapons or go into a berserk rage.

well lore wise maybe either a unarmed fighter Monk type of class or Bard my money is on Bard since theres a Bards College in Solitude and this game is missing a class that can debuff enemies and can buff players for an extended period of time we need a specific class that can buff players for more than 30 seconds etc.

That Abnur Tharn Sword Singer clone had some sick looking moves. I suppose they'd have a hovering sword/weapon summoning + wind playstyle.

Enchanter - crowd control, charm, illusions, player buffs, mob debuffs. My main from EQ. Bards had lower versions of these.
Shaman subsumed many of the `chanter`s unique abilities in the never ending class melding.

Bard would be cool too though, and bring in most of the `chanter abilities.

There is a Bard's college but Bards aren't combat based in Elder Scrolls. I just don't think it would fit.

This is the ESO Templar, not WoW Paladin/Priest.

You should be based only on Elder Scrolls universe. Where is Battlemage? It's above any other class you listed! And yet any other existing Class may be "Battlemage", with the right Skill Line.

Bards College is a faction, a guild, as well as the Thieves Guild, Mages Guild etc. Bard doesn't have to be a Class. It's unnecessary.

I forgot Monk.

Monk = New Weapon Skill Line => Unarmed.

Anyway ... THIS IS ESO, NOT WOW OR FFXIV. Already enough new Classes.

Give me crossbows, give me spears, give me wands. I would like to see a more ranged stamina type class like Ranger or Archer, though I'm not sure they would fit into the current repertoire of classes. When I think about it new weapon skill lines sounds better.

There were quite a few classes in TES III Morowind but I'm not entirely sure how most of them would be all that different from what we've got or how they'd be implemented into ESO.

Bard sounds like a supportive role , but we believe it will have those 3 role skill lines .

They may take a look at Battlemage, Bard or Spellsword classes from Oblivion, and try to combine two of them together like the Nightblade/Agent/Assassin combo.

My guess since they are pulling out the trifecta of fan requests with Elswyr, Necromancer and Dragons, they will want to do something that can bring as much attention next year: Which will be Skryim (part of what's left, not all) zone and Thu'um skill line (like psijiic). It's already shown you don't have to be dragonborn to learn the voice, especially if it's done on a weaker level of only offering five or six shouts (skills) and the entire idea of having us run around looking for dragonwalls to unlock the shouts is already part of an ES game.

So that was a long way of just saying I think they will do another skill line next, not another class.

I think the entire character building system needs an overhaul before we even add Necromancer. The system is horrible especially when compared to many other games and earlier TES games. They have dumbed and watered ESO down to the point where the only decision you have to make is what armor to equip and you get like 3 choices for that.
