I believe purge makes you immune to status effects for a few (3?) seconds.
Thank you for those suggestions. I will check into them. I'm looking for solutions that I can use for any class and any build. Looks like Purge is only option so far. Oh man. So bummed about this.

If you level up Dark Brotherhood, there is a passive that reduces monster aggro radius while mounted. It's quite nice for traveling so your horse doesn't get hamstrung by every wolf you pass.

From the DK aspect this is a poor decision and your suggestions are very limited.
1 is class specific
2 are stamina specific
Unless you area really suggesting healers wear medium armor or use 2H swords or only heal on DKs and constantly use Purge in situations when snares are persistent. Oh, I forgot, we can force everyone to be a vampire.
Honestly, in subjects like this offering such narrowly available solutions is not offering really a solution. OP is talking PvE after all.
I am very disappointed with the above pending change that is now in effect on PTS. This skill is on my bar for every single character all the time. It is not just a PVP skill. It is a QOL skill for PvE players. When I'm traveling overland I run this skill so I can be immune to roots and snares from trash mobs. This allows for easier transportation, farming, dungeon runs, getting away from guards, skyshard farming, etc.
And? Vigor is in the PVP skill line and stam PVE players use it all the time since.Haashhtaag wrote: »Kuramas9tails wrote: »ZOS should really separate PVP and PVE skills. You get this skill in a pvp skill like though?

I understand that Zeni is trying to affect certain PvP behaviors, but at least a few PvE players are going to suffer greatly myself included. If they would only allow the immunity to snares and immobilizes on the caster alone, I believe it would accomplish the same result. Alternatively if the immunity only worked against NPCs, that would be fine too.
Does anyone have any alternative ways to avoid snares and immobilizes for PvE players? Set gear or anything that isn't class or race dependent is what I'm looking for.

Clearly, they do not care about PVP, so I cannot drink from the cup in front of you.
How so? Most nerfs are to please pvpers and have a huge impact on pver's.

What if I told you that you are NOT IMMUNE to snares from PvE mobs? Cast Maneuver, get close to some skeevers in reapers march and get enlightened.
