Upcoming changes to dual wield

So in the patch notes it mentioned something along the lines of dw enchants being halfed in comparison to 2h due to them being smaller or whatever. My first thought was that they were going to finally make 1h weapons half the tempering alloys to gold, making it 4 each as opposed to 8 each, however, I could not find anything regarding this anywhere. Anyone think they'll change this soon? Don't want to buy 16 temps to gold out dw when in reality it should only take 8 (hell I'd even prefer 10)

    I really doubt this. 1h weapons still have the advantage of more total weapon damage vs. 2h weapons. I think keeping the upgrade costs as it stands is still fair.

    They have eliminated all the benifits of having 2 weapons, but left all the garbage. I can't imagine they'll make a change. They seem to think we should just roll mag. I give in. Rolling magblade.

    That's basically our curse for PvE now. At least they gave me a race change.. bye redguard.

    @Topic

    I doubt that will happen.. As they said, it still gives more wep. damage.

    Someone must have died too many times in Cyrodiil to a double-dagger wielding stamblade. Time to wreck PVE.

    Mag becomes even more obvious a choice for PvE endgame dps. As if the melee-prohibitive mechanics weren’t enough already

    2H still isn’t gonna be viable because ZOS didn’t fix any of its core issues, and now DW is getting a massive nerf to put stam even further behind mag.

    Who thought that was a good idea

    SMH. The upgrade cost is absolutely not fair. Does it provide double the weapon damage? No. Should it cost double the tempers? No. People kind of had an argument when you got two full strength enchants but thats no longer the case. Now you're in with this, "wellllll itsh kinda shorta like a little bit more weapon damage shooooo it sheeeems fair to me."

    Yeah this confounds me. And I actually think the nerf was done to make 2H look more appealing in PvE, and for no other reason. Despite all the forum warriors who like to go, "YEAH WELL 3 is more than 2, SO THERE," if we want to look at real in game use, DW enchants were not OP in any sense of the word. And we all know that 2H is not suffering because of a single enchant. Im actually on the side of most of the racial balancing this patch, it needs to happen and given that I think they did a good job. But this is just a really really really really lazy way of trying to make 2H more appealing when obviously its just broken in PvP and poorly designed for PvE top tier DPS. People are probably still going to be going to DW.

    Or, someone must have felt belittled in front their teammates using DW pulling +2k more dps because of dual enchants in PvE.

    Time to wreck the game and point the finger to those filthy PvPers.

    ZOS has made so many changes to their game they have slowly but surely ruined it. This is just another one of their stupid changes that makes no sense.
