Out of curiosity: does Khajiit fit the Dragon Knight class?

Title says it all.

I like to have races and classes in a corresponding way. My Nightblade is Khajiit which imho totally fits the class/race combo from a lore standpoint. Khajiit Sorcerer sounds very reasonable for me too.

But what about Khajiit Dragon Knight? What would you say?

Please keep in mind this is not about racial bonuses, I don't care about them. It's just about visuals, appearance, style, lore.

Lore wise I would say it would fit, especially if said Khajiit was raised in a warrior household. Or perhaps he was an orphan kitten taken in by a family of kind hearted Nords. Maybe said Khajiit has a parent that was indeed a Nord or a Dark Elf (both possible). So it really depends on the backstory. Another lore solution is maybe the Khajiit was born just as the moons crested behind the sun during an eclipse (again very possible) and that caused the Khajiit to have the power of fire.

There are many examples of Khajiit warrior archetype characters throughout the single player games. So I see no reason Khajiit can't be DKs.

One of the members of the Dragonguard, after it officially disbanded at the start of the 2nd era, went on to teach others the arts of the Dragonguard martial fighting style, but only on the condition that they would go on to teach others the fighting techniques too.

So any race can easily have learned it from someone who learned it from that chain of teaching. Or they could have learned it directly from the Dragonguard when it was unoficially brought back later on with Versidue-Shae, and unto this day. There are Dragonguard temples all over Tamriel, although it's unknown if there is one in Elsweyr, I would imagine so because of the high Akaviri presence there.

I believe that they kinda made the 4 base classes to fit all races IMHO.

A DK to me is nothing more than a heavy armor warrior type, which you would presumably find in all cultures. I find NBs in a similar category, but for thieving. There are thieves in every culture.

In Khajiit Lore, when the country was split in two, the top half were warriors. Heavy build warriors. The Khajiit breed, Pahmar-raht, look similar to the Cathay you see in ESO but think of them as bigger and bulkier (as shown below)

I can see these bigger Khajiit breeds and even Cathay's as being DKs. To me, it seems, the small breeds like the Alfiq are the Magic welders while the big "Battle Cats" are stamina/claw based. That is why I think the new passive changes work well because the Cathay are an "in-between" breed of Khajiit so they can manage both Magic and Stam.

Ok. So the bottom half of the country were merchants because they had plentiful harvests so between the two, the top half of the kingdom would train warriors from the south as the merchants from the south would trade with the north.

im thinking of a big bulky khajiit with black fur and amberplasm skin as a dragonknight. with the right armor i think it would look epic.

Khajiit can't be dragonknights because they set their own fur on fire.

You know this is actually one of the things I think about when creating characters... it might sound weird but that's why I found the idea of a Khajiit DK so conflicting and opened up this thread. These little things bug me.

I think the fact that the best Dragonknight Tank in the world plays a Khajiit because he likes their appearance and style confirms your query.

Just imagine this is how your khajiit put out the fire, then there's no problem at playing DK.

khajiit fit everything...im playing khajiit nb tank now and after new racials khajiit will be pretty much best for all rol...cat power!

This, now an tank will wear full heavy armor. Fur behind metal plate and then padding is just more padding just like the hair on humans and elves.
if your hair burns with that setup you have fallen into lava or is deorbiting.

Yes, Khajiit DK is fine. After all you only need the buffs, whips etc.
And you cannot go wrong with Khajiit on anything. I have a Khajiit NB, three Khajiit Templars (Sta DD, Sta Tank, Ma Healer), two Khajiit Dragonknights (Ma DD, Sta Tank), one Khajiit Ma Sorcerer, making one Sta Warden atm, and looking forward for two Khajiit Necromancers Vampires (one Ma the other Sta).

Even as a "Healer", the current stamina passives are great asset as I am more in need on Stamina than the endless pool of Magicka.
Let alone all the upcoming changes, making Khajiit Magicka anything could mean insta win

Mhm still not sure, either Khajiit or High Elf... give me more arguments pro Khajiit.

Khajiit practice martial arts (I think there's a temple in Khenarthi's Roost where you can see such monks?), so they should definitely feel at home practicing the Akaviri battle arts and magicks that make up the DK's toolkit.

And while they may or may not be related to the Khajiit, the Ka Po'Tun from Akavir have tried to become dragons after they went extinct and their leader Tosh Raka succeedded at it, becoming the Tiger-Dragon. A Khajiit could def have such aspirations as well

The dragonknight class is made up. You could argue that it fits or doesn't fit any race.
