Interesting note on Dremora Style.

Has anyone else noticed that, when wearing mostly dremora style Armor (6-7 Armor pieces at most.) that there is a improvement to FPS? Because when I styled my Orc Dragonknight In dremora armor, there was a smooth improvement to almost everything I do, even the movement on horseback feels realistically smooth. But when I am not wearing dremora Armor, the game feels slightly more “static” as it was originally.

(Truth be told, I do not know how to properly word the very thing I describe, but performance wise, FPS gets better while wearing Dremora Style Armor.)
If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.

Does this work in every zone or just in specific zones? Have you tried doing the last stages of Dragon Star Arena or March of Sacrifices at the same time of the day with two different outfits?

I don't think the performance increase can be that great from a different style, so my guess it's other factors.

Not only an improvement in FPS, but one in style!

The dremora motif is one worth collecting:

I couldn't be arsed doing a trial or buying the piece from that so just didn't bother getting this style, so I don't know.

But generally speaking, a lot of clothing is very detailed and I could believe that it might impact significantly on performance for some people. Maybe the dremora style is different somehow and requires less processing power.

If other new motifs have the same effect, then it's plausible ZoS made some kind of performance optimization. Do they?

And how does this all compare to costumes?

I started the thread because of how wearing dremora Armor indirectly improves game performance, and thought I would share this info with those who “already have the dremora style” because there are those who have a somewhat difficult time with performance to begin with and information like this could prove fruitful for said players. (Not that you thought about that.)
