The botters are getting smarter when farming.

I was just leveling a new character and I was in Bleakrock and Bal Foyen and I noticed all these "dghfdh" names running around except they werent all sorcs farming wolves they are now actually running on a set path farming nodes so I spent a good 2 hours in total today messing with them and taking the nodes before they could get to them running along their path spamming my bird of prey for the movement speed.

I mean one of the bots would actually pull out his map while running between nodes so it would look like a the player was actually playing the game.

Hopefully I took some money out those farmers pockets.

A lot of bots come with some little things programmed in to make them look like players, however most are always given away by the odd style of movement they perform.

If you do find bots make sure you report them, the more reports the more likely that bot will get addressed. Sadly it's a never ending war and all we can do.

I did, every last one of them ontop of taking their nodes.

Makes me wonder how are they even able to bot the consoles like that. Hopefully they stay away from pc.

There are plenty on PC. There are some very common areas you will always seen them.

Yeah there might be I'm not going to bother looking for them so long as they don't spam zone chats. Thankfully the delete limit they placed in years back fixed that problem.

Starter islands and shadowfen(who even goes there?) are always packed with them. Bot trains for days. I don't mind them too much but there's a clear influence in the market with both mat process going down, specially aggressive on gold tannins, and gear and motifs going up in prices because people will now have a bit more gold changing hands.

Not too bad because the botters can't effectively sell gold unless they transform farm mats into gold first, and this can only be done with people spending their own gold generated naturally from other sources. Hold back a lot in economic damage for the in game market. Then you have gold sinks, that make bots even less of an issue because less money circulating means less inflation and more stability. We all like stability.

And I'm saying this being a mat farmer myself.

Ps.: If you played RuneScape 2 before the grand exchange came around, you know how BAD things can get in a game if the economy crashes. We don't want that in ESO, but if it happens, won't be because of bots. They'll help, but not ruin it.
