ilambris set question

i have a magplar melee dps...
im using 5 julianos, 5 mothers sorrow, and i just got ilambris set 10% chance to trigger a fire or lightning meteor shower, each has its own proc and its own cool down.

im using a a lightning staff with fire dmg glyph.

my question is...
if i use my puncturing sweep, luminous charge or my pbae will it trigger the effect

OR

must i use my destro lightning fire grlyph staff and see how it goes?

It's basically any time you deal fire or shock dmg you have a 10% chance to proc 1 of the meteor showers.

Relying on a fire glyph to proc the fire meteor shower will give you low uptime because it has an internal CD of 4 seconds unless using an infused staff making it 2 seconds.

A lightning staff's light attacks should be shock dmg, so any time you light attack weave you get a chance to proc the lightning shower.

Illambris is usually best used on a mag sorc or mag dk due to their shock/fire spell synergies.

I don't play a templar, but I'm pretty sure none of those abilities are fire or shock dmg.

yeah notiuced, i also tested it.


weaving between skills does have a "normal"proc and sometimes both are proc, not being divine doesnt help but.... it does work
so far force pulse and clench procs both

Any fire or lightning damage will proc the showers.

Skills that can proc fire: Vampire's Bane/Reflective Light, Blockade of Fire, Fire Clench/Reach, Force Pulse/Crushing Shock, Fiery Rage (destro ultimate)
Skills that can proc lightning: Blockade of Storms, Shock Clench/Reach, Force Pulse/Crushing Shock, Thunderous rage (destro ult)

And of course fire or lightning enchants can proc them as well. As with light/heavy attacks from the flame and lightning staves,
