This is only with regards to the max stat pool, let the other things like stealth or red diamond do whatever.
Let every race have the same max stat potential, let the race proficiency impact how many skill points it takes to get there.
Perhaps the imperial needs to spend 3 skill points to get 2k health and the wood elf needs 7 and a mid sturdy race like irc needs 5. But when we consider all three stats we all spend the same total. In the end all races can have same stat potential.
You keep specialization and yet if you insist, you can play your Nord sorcerer without being forever a second class dps, etc.
