If a necromancer has stolen/absorbed a bunch of souls from other people, and a better necromancer absorbs the first necromancer's soul, does the second necromancer also absorb all the souls of the people the first necromancer absorbed?

I guess the reason I'm asking is because if a necromancer wanted to become super-powerful super-quickly, it seems like it'd be more efficient to go after other necromancers rather than just run-of-the-mill regular people.

Not unless he takes the dead necromancers soul gems because necromancers dont absorb souls as a dragon born absorbs dragon souls, but use soul gems to hold them, hence the name.
