    Will yeah, of course! :)

I just mean we can't really form conclusions about difficulty and completion rates overall with such a small and specific sample size.

Yes and No, if there's a set/monster helm involved that I want then I've done it.

    If not then Nerp.

Several of the dungeon v2 I haven't done because they have nothing I want

But dlc dungeons have all almost been done

I didn't want to start a poll of how many folks want a mode added that would allow them to complete these Solo, someone else can try that poll. However, I can see folks replies here and draw my own conclusion of who stands where based on seeing their names in other threads and why. There are several here that do this content that have posted in other threads of still wanting a story mode.

All dungeons are worth it, even if it's just for the skill point. The story is a bonus of course. Many of them though have veeeeeery long winded speeches and people just click-click-skip everything and run off not listening to the conversation.

I like listening to conversation. I ran EH2 on normal last night with a relatively new character (max CP though) and even though I was reading the quest speech, all other three players (all under 50) ran ahead, skipped all quest points, and I was forced to skip speech because I was getting left behind. Same on the end scene. I thought maybe I could at least listen to that, nope, boss dead everyone left the group. I was forced once again to skip everything just to get the reward before being kicked. Over 3 years in this game and I still have no idea what that Bogdan beast was doing and why we had to go down there.

I really am starting to think the ONLY way to enjoy the dungeon quests is by soloing them. I may very well have to make it an endeavour with my future necromancer and solo everything on normal just to be able to enjoy the quests at my own pace.

Which obviously isn't possible in all cases. I hope these new ones (since they are an important part of the next story arc) manage to somehow "force" players to listen to the entire story. BUT that's going to annoy many players for sure.

Maybe a story mode is indeed a good idea? Allow players to roam the dungeon with no enemies and just NPCs. Or maybe make them all so easy that everyone can solo it (no skill point awarded in this mode).

I've done every base game dungeon on normal, most of them solo because queues are ridiculous and I like actually hearing the dialogue and story. Haven't touched any dlc dungeons because I don't own them, and don't have eso plus either. Not really interested in doing vet dungeons because I can only do pugs since I know literally no one, so those would likely be not so fun. Plus I can just get my monster helms for ap when they come round, so it's not like I NEED to do them.

My current level is that I can do pretty much all the non-DLC ones on VET, but the DLC ones are a pain.

I have done them on VET, got the hats, but very rarely feel the urge to go back to them. I don't think I have done any of them more than half a dozen times. Even the normal modes feel like an unpleasant experience. I have to be in a very specific mood and with a small group of people to want to do them.

For me one of the main problems with them is not the mechanics per se, it's that the mechanics are never clearly explained. For me the whole purpose of the normal mode should be to enable players to learn the mechanics, not simply one shot kill them constantly or allow them to dps through without beating/understanding the mechanics. I shouldn't have to watch a f***ing YouTube video to understand what is supposed to be going on - that just takes all the enjoyment out of it until it becomes a 'lead you by the nose' experience.

The moments I have really enjoyed in the DLC dungeons have been those moments when my group has figured out how to beat a specific mechanic by ourselves. Where we have developed a plan and it's worked.

I think it's a big challenge creatively to develop a DLC dungeon set where the story is so integral. I'm curious to see how ZOS do it and I hope they raise their game and make it really compelling.

I'm not sure what you mean about the other pole, I'm not asking for that. I'm saying there's a difference between completing base game and dlc dungeons and since the pole doesn't specify which were completed this isn't proof that the dungeons are too easy or too hard on average, as some have been implying. Plus the fact those people are taking in to account the people on the forum are a relatively small portion of players and therefore not representative of the community. Oh, not to mention it's very possible some people are carried through the dungeons without even realizing they're being carried.

I'm not against the pole. I'm against people using it to say : hey look! These results mean ZOS should take action in X,y,z ways or to justify ignoring a portion of the population.

None because of all the people on here screaming "get gud” or crying “fake!” on here turned me away from even trying any.

That was me once upon a time. Don't let that deter you. It's not nearly as bad as what the forums would make you think. Will you run into that stuff sometimes? Sure, but most players are decent enough to not act like asses, some are even helpful. Hell, you might even have fun!

I've completed all on live or PTS except Fang lair, March and Moon Keep. In fact I haven't even been in Fang or March.

As far as vet goes, I've done less than a dozen unique dungeons since throphy busts became a thing.

Dungeon HM Challenges (and general design) are easily among the best content in the game for me. Trials are a pain to play and organize and the rewards are rubbish. Overworld content is so ez you usually fall asleep at some point. That leaves 4 mans and their achievements as the only thing worth your time and investment for endgame PVE.

Between my 4 mains, i've done pretty much anything on all available levels.

Never been much of a leaderboard hunter so much of the ones that actually require groups (DLC dungeons and trials) i pugged with guildies.

And then there are the few that i've been running ad nauseum because of specific gear drops. Not really my idea of fun, but unless ZOS gets tired of their RNG circle jerk, it is what it is.

I beat them all at least once, the older ones I've done hundreds of times if not more. The newer DLC ones I did a couple times on PTS, then just got gear on live. They aren't too challenging and, once you get gear (if it's even useful,) offer little reason to return.

I've duoed all the base 16 dungeons with my wife @DarcyMardin, and a couple of the "2" dungeons as well. I've PUGged all the non-DLC dungeons and 4 of the DLC ones, almost always as healer.

That's on normal. I've healed about half of those dungeons in vet HM, if my Undaunted bust collection is to be believed.

I've only soloed normal mode or duoed vet mode on the very easiest, not counting a lot I soloed before they were automatically scaled to the soloer's level.

OK I just gave this another go and tried to Solo one that I hadn't done. It was Crypt of Hearts 1. I died a couple of times in the starting room until I shook off the rust (before even picking up the quest). After that, I completed it without another death. Either I've gotten better or they have already toned these down a bit. FYI I only used crafted sets (purple) with a Gold weapon.

I might be able to stand one a little harder than this If it contains main story content, maybe to the point of having to die a couple of times to feel some accomplishment but that is about it. I however don't think a lot of folks would want them this hard and new folks are not gonna have the practice I have with dealing with the mechanics. I am by no means a "Gud" Player, I just Have Fun!!

History, like a human being, is thirsty when it wakes from its slumber…History wants to drink up an enormous amount of blood. And even if history has tired of drinking blood, that’s only in regards to the amount. But what about quality? The larger the sacrifice is, the more delighted the cruel gods will be.

I've done all the non-DLC ones on normal and two of them on vet hm. I've never been impressed by what I consider to be irritating mechanics, and simply watching a You Tube walk through of vet hm wgt was enough to make my eyes glaze over, my head hurt and make the decision to simply avoid all DLC dungeons.
