what non content motives are there to pre-order Elysweyr?

As a mainly PvPer I'm curious what the hook is with this chapter for me to pre-order?
Morrowind had Battlegrounds, must have
Summerset had jewellery crafting, kinda important / handy. And psjics

Unsure what / why i should buy as I'm assuming the Cyro weopon will be base game and access to IC being split out is via owning IC so...

Just curious. (granted Necromancer, but Morrowind had Warden too again I'm not fussed about class)

I'm not griping, ive bought pre order launch day last two chapter, more to support the game but i had motives.

Only half way through the stream perhaps more is coming?

    I guess i sound ungratful perhaps, its not that. Everything we are getting we got before BUT they had a clever hook in content for everyone.

    I've only been in Vivec to craft, and never been to summerset. Just not for me. Yet I'm happy to blow £20 a year as I'm getting key elements.

    Just feels somethings missing this time. Maybe that's a good thing. Less to balance etc.

    I guess I'm just more surprised as they missing a trick

    It's purely for the fluff if you preorder. If you're not planning to create a Necromancer first days after launch and willing to wait how it pans out (and that's not a bad plan considering the fate of Warden), I'm sure you might get a better deal after 2 or 3 months. If you're just here for the PvP, it's an option I'd consider.

    As for the Necromancer i'm pretty sure you'll be able to purchase the class via the crown store like they did with the warden

    Yeah that's my gut feel. And agreed @HappyLittleTree I'm just surprised as I've been happy to support the game the last two times but had a needed element in return. Feels like surprisingly they missed a trick this time.

    I get new PvE content, dragons etc has people psyched and that's cool. Had the content been Skyrim / winter setting id probably have got involved too, Morrowind landscape wasn't for me, and not an Altmer fan so no interest in summerset. Each to their own etc.

    Also just heard we get a new BG map next patch too
