Was this announced? I don't like the idea of screwing around with the UI on PC too much. It will surely break existing addons.
I'm watching the stream. This is going to obliterate awesome guild store (which may be superior to ZOS's solution) And may crash MasterMerchant's integration with guild store. I don't know if either of these are still updated. I haven't and am not going to check into it before hitting post.

This is a very good starting point to what guild traders need to cut down the search times, however, this fix is more for consoles than PC. PC already has the ability to save searches and being able to see the lowest per unit cost. The problem on PC is more that it takes hours to search through multiple zone's and stores to find one specific item. Even though you can search TTC, it is never been able to remove an item once it's purchased so many of the items have already sold prior to your search. It simply means a little less time per guild trader, which should help but many of us already have these abilities now.
Don't take me wrong I welcome any improvement to the basic game. I have always seen the lack of a mini map, lack of a central location to buy or price items, and the high cost of guild traders as a weak point in an other wise great game. There is always going to be changes that are needed, no PC game is perfect in everyone's mind. My fear hear is it's now going to be another 4 years before we finally see a fix to the hours it takes to travel to each zone for a single item.
RIght now gold sellers control the market prices, they are buying single mats at a huge cost raising the single item cost on MM and TTC making the mat prices rise and fall based on their purchases rather than our own. In central location based system it's based on how low the lowest seller is willing to go, not the avg price per item which changes when someone spends 49k on a single mat
