MORPHABLE MONSTER SETS & NIGHTMARE MODE DIFFICULTY

I've thought many times over the years of how cool it would be if all monster sets were good for most any build. I've also thought how cool it would be if we had a choice to put a dungeon into nightmare mode, in which ALL enemies in the dungeon were much tougher.

I think this would put MUCH MORE replay value in dungeon playing, and give people a reason to want to do it more.

I would like to see monster sets be able to morph just like your skills do. It would make them able to do things that are good for stamina, magicka, etc.

Who knows, maybe these new types of monster sets would drop on a higher difficulty?

I think both of these things would inject some fun, replay value, and balace ( because anyone may use the set ) to the game.


Another idea I had was to be able to change the 1st piece of a monster set. Not the 2 piece ( what the set actually does ) just the 1 piece. Say the 1 piece was health, but you want stamina, magicka, spell / weapon damage, etc. It would also make sets more viable for ALL classes who would like to run them.

We only get new monster sets once in a while, having to wait that long on them, and then realizing that they just.....yeah, you get my point. Having the option to where EVERYONE can enjoy them just makes too much sense.

Zos, please make this happen?

    Sure, go for it. I don't do dungeons, so *shrug*.

    We already have Hard mode for vet dungeons and trails. The monster set thing is the way it is because of balance between the classes and having enough monster sets to chase for your particular needs. It's really down to stamina or magicka, offense or defense, and of course sustain. I don't see ZoS changing any of that. There still has to be a reason for people to continue doing group content. Once you have a set and can change it? That defeats the purpose of ever doing a dungeon again. They at least added the ability to transmute items, which eases the pain of getting the wrong trait on an item. That alone makes for less people doing dungeons as it is =/

    vanila dungeons may have NM mode. Current HM is simple, except maybe 1-2 dungeons (they still not hard, they just "ok").
