Gryphon's Ferocity set — does it have an internal cooldown?

Must you wait for the full 3 seconds of the buff to elapse before it can be re-applied? Or does it refresh every time you deal an instance of direct damage?

No CD. It reapplies everylight attack etc. I like it on my werewolf.

@Alpha-Lupi It's not unheard-of for sets to have a built-in ICD. For the longest time, Ravager had a 10s cooldown that wasn't stated on the tooltip, so you couldn't refresh an existing buff. It's a valid question.
