Seeing Player Stats on XB1?

How does one look at player stats on Xbox One?

Example: PUGed into nWGT recently with a group that were all somewhere in the middle hundreds in the Champion System and the healer bailed almost immediately, but not after complaining that there was no way we could do it because there wasn't enough collective DPS in the group. (We did it just fine with another healer, but that's not the point...) I have yet to be able to find an interface where I could see the DPS for members of my group.

Where was this guy looking when he made that determination?

There is no way to see your stats unless you share them. If you had already fought a mob (maybe the first ones prior to the Harvester boss), they probably had a good feel for your dps. Healers have to see a lot of things and keep their eyes on a lot of things during a fight, and we can usually "feel" the level of DPS in a group. That being said, on normal it shouldn't matter. You likely either got:

A.) A whiny elitist turd healer who didn't want to work through it with you guys (although sometimes it can be a bit of a chore when you just want a quick run for fun), or
B.) A DPS who queued as a healer, hoping for a quick burn with high dps players so they didn't have to worry about being a squishy glass-cannon.

Either way, don't worry about it. You're not a high enough CP player yet to have dazzlingly huge dps numbers, so you don't need to feel badly about it. Just keep playing and having fun, don't worry about the unavoidable occasional turd you'll run into, and you will get there when you get there.

You can't see it only your own on a dummy test

However you can feel it, i.e. Mobs taking an age or mechanics on timers such as bloodspawn

And whilst its often elitist say someone has a XP ppt on and event double xp scroll running, they might not fancy taking 45 mins on a 15 minute dungeon

Next question: at what CP level do I get "dazzlingy huge dps numbers"? Is it like those level-rewards you now get pre CP? Like...I hit 900 and get a glittering chest full of DPS? That would be awesome.

Seriously though--thanks for the answers, folks. I get the idea of "feel" here--I can usually tell before we get to the first boss if this is going to be an easy run or a long one.

I think it's fine for folks to leave if they don't want to be there for whatever reason--I was just curious as to how this guy knew what kind of DPS was at play. I assumed he was working from stats, not a gut feeling.

What the others said. Just want to add that sometimes in these situations, its a guy (because its always a guy) who loves to announce how much work he is putting in so when you clear the dungeon he can sprain his shoulder patting himself on the back. Ignore it every single time in a normal dungeon. Few things in this game are as irritating as an elitist in a normal dungeon.

Burn matters only in vet trials and some vet dungeons. As in you need to burn a boss to avoid mechanics, or because a slow burn will result in increasing damage, or because longer fights with more mechanics allow for more chances for failure (i.e. the last boss on vet Fang Lair HM, the second to last boss on vMHK). Like the others said, its a feel thing, usually because you have done the same/similar content a few times before. Higher DPS comes with time.

Your eventual DPS output will depend entirely on you. I would consider either looking up some videos on how to put together and run a dps rotation for your chosen class or seek out someone who can help you with it one on one, and practice it until you can do it in your sleep. You'll need to establish that muscle memory that comes with repetition. The only thing that will change as you gain your CP is the potential to do more dmg, better sustain, and the potential to survive more punishing mechanics. Having a good grasp on your rotation and how to properly LA cancel is going to do WORLDS for your dmg output.

If you start now, you'll be a freaking monster by the time you hit max CP, assuming this is something you even want to focus on in the first place. It's your game man, enjoy it however you like.

It's actually not something I tend to focus on. I'm CP604 and do just fine most of the time with the way I build (putting points into health and stamina, morphings skills, wearing epic heavy armor, slotting weapons that do the most damage that I can find).

I play the game a lot, but I'd consider myself a casual player in that I'm not invested enough to really do the research it would take to make a build the same way a lot of other players seem to be. I've hit the point now where I'm pretty darn hard to kill in PVE (don't ever do PVP and know I would get slaughtered if I did) and frequently run dungeons without taking much damage at all. I actually mostly stopped doing quests because I get bored with the bosses--it's typically too easy to be fun. I tend to start new characters when a new chapter comes out so the quests are challenging.

I'll admit to dps envy every once in a while, though--when I seen someone in the 800-900 range come in and just level the place without breaking a sweat.

I've plugged low dps groups through vWGT with my healer. Normal is a plough through with most groups - - a good healer provides enough buffs, debuffs and heals for most of that dungeon. Mechanics are the only pit fall to worry about, and they don't come into play on nWGT unless dps is stupid low.

Could just be he didn't want to put the effort in to work harder than he felt he wanted. I've had groups so bad they they turned me into a Bol spammer(!). Those are the worst, but usually pre cp or new players so I don't blame them. More a challenge for me to creatively keep the team alive and suppliment dps.

@Ecileh71 that's kind of the point. You sacrifice survivability for damage, and vice versa. If you're looking to be unkillable, maybe invest time in tanking. Sounds like you could adjust your build and be effective in that role, more so than dps - - or spin your hand at healing if you want to expand your horizons away from damage.

Dude...at CP 604, you're not a lowbie anymore. My apologies for assuming you were. I have to admit, crossing over from where you are into build videos and parsing territory is definitely opening a Pandora's Box that you can't shut again. It opens up an entirely new part of the game and make all new content available that is pretty exciting and challenging. Don't do it unless you want to give up all of your free time, because you will be absolutely hooked. I was where you are for the first year I played this game, until I discovered PvP, and now end game PvE. It's like a digital crack pipe...

Sounds like that guy was just a jerk. It's normal there isn't really any DPS minimums for normal and if he was a healer he should have been able to do enough damage to make up the difference if he was so good.

Also people have some pretty serious misunderstandings about CP in this game and how big that difference really is. There are some notable thresholds at CP160 (gear threshold), 300 (most of your base offense and defense boosts), 500-600ish (you will notice higher survivability because of CP mitigation) but honestly beyond that it's just padding or absolute max damage/survivability.

Only thing you could see that's similar to stats would be the amount of AvA kills via comparing you against the person in question.
People did that to me when I claimed to be a solo player and boy were they surprised about the time played/kills XD.

This, that is unless both DD was just spamming LA.
Remember leveling an tank and had nBC2 fail on keeper Indril as dps was to low to kill off the adds, it was obviously no AoE.
As long as people use AoE and dots and has reasonable gear normals are not an problem.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
