I thought that cc's in this game were supposed to have a cool down. However on many occasions I find myself counting seconds but being Instantly stunned. Snared. Shield bashed over and over. There is simply none. Apart from the fact they are too strong anyhow. The immunity doesn't work. Xbox 1

Permastun and stuns not respecting CC cooldown is definitely a thing. It seems to happen in PvP during times of lag and lots of players focusing you.

Hard stuns that completely disable your character are meant to have a cooldown of about 8 seconds, if I remember correctly. I say meant to because, as already said, some stuns don't care about it.

Soft roots and snares, however, don't have an immediate cooldown. If you let it end naturally, you can be rooted or snared immediately after with zero consequence to the caster. Roll dodging, though, I believe is meant to apply immunity for a few seconds, though I don't think roots and snares care about it, either. Using an ability that grants snare immunity, such as Shuffle, Forward Momentum, or Reflective Plate, will grant a few seconds of immunity after breaking any roots or snares.
